2019-05-23drm: Rename struct edp_vsc_psr to struct dp_sdpGwan-gyeong Mun3-12/+12
VSC SDP Payload for PSR is one of data block type of SDP (Secondaray Data Packet). In order to generalize SDP packet structure name, it renames struct edp_vsc_psr to struct dp_sdp. And each SDP data blocks have different usages, each SDP type has different reserved data blocks and Video_Stream_Configuration Extension VESA SDP might use all of Data Blocks as Extended INFORFRAME Data Byte. so it makes Data Block variables as array type. And it adds comments of details of DB of VSC SDP Payload for Pixel Encoding/Colorimetry Format. 2019-05-13drm/bridge: adv7511: Fix low refresh rate selectionMatt Redfearn1-3/+3
The driver currently sets register 0xfb (Low Refresh Rate) based on the value of mode->vrefresh. Firstly, this field is specified to be in Hz, but the magic numbers used by the code are Hz * 1000. This essentially leads to the low refresh rate always being set to 0x01, since the vrefresh value will always be less than 24000. Fix the magic numbers to be in Hz. Secondly, according to the comment in drm_modes.h, the field is not supposed to be used in a functional way anyway. Instead, use the helper function drm_mode_vrefresh(). 2019-04-12drm/bridge: ti-tfp410: Set the bus_formatPeter Ujfalusi1-0/+17
The TFP410 supports 24 bit, single-edge and 12 bit, dual-edge modes. Depending on how many wires are used (24/12) the driver can set the correct bus_format. If the information is not available in DT then assume 24 bit, single-edge setup. The TFP410 supports configurable pixel clock sampling edge and data de-skew adjustments. The configuration can be set through I2C or dedicated chip pins. Report the configuration through the drm_bridge timings. As the ti-tftp410 driver doesn't support configuring the chip through I2C, we simply use the default configuration in that case. When the chip is configured through dedicated pins, we parse the configuration from DT. The TI TFP410 is a DVI encoder, not a full HDMI encoder. Its output can be routed to a DVI-D connector, even if in many cases embedded systems will use an HDMI connector to carry the DVI signals. Having the probe helper stuff (which pretty much everyone needs) in the drm_crtc_helper.h file (which atomic drivers should never need) is confusing. Split them out. To make sure I actually achieved the goal here I went through all drivers. And indeed, all atomic drivers are now free of drm_crtc_helper.h includes. v2: Make it compile. There was so much compile fail on arm drivers that I figured I'll better not include any of the acks on v1. v3: Massive rebase because i915 has lost a lot of drmP.h includes, but not all: Through drm_crtc_helper.h > drm_modeset_helper.h -> drmP.h there was still one, which this patch largely removes. Which means rolling out lots more includes all over. drmP.h is an relic from the days when there was a single header file. To enable the removal of drmP.h from all users drop include of drmP.h from bridge/dw_hdmi.h. A few files relied on the file included in drmP.h - add explicit include statements or forward declarations to these files. Initially DP0_SRCCTRL is set to a static value which includes DP0_SRCCTRL_LANES_2 and DP0_SRCCTRL_BW27, even when only 1 lane of 1.62Gbps speed is used. DP1_SRCCTRL is configured to a magic number. This patch changes the configuration as follows: Configure DP0_SRCCTRL by using tc_srcctrl() which provides the correct value. DP1_SRCCTRL needs two bits to be set to the same value as DP0_SRCCTRL: SSCG and BW27. All other bits can be zero.
