2025-04-22iio: normalize array sentinel styleDavid Lechner1-2/+2
Use `\t(\{ ?\},|\{\}|\{\s*/\*.*\*/\s*\},?)$` regex to find and replace the array sentinel in all IIO drivers to the same style. For some time, we've been trying to consistently use `{ }` (no trailing comma, no comment, one space between braces) for array sentinels in the IIO subsystem. Still nearly 50% of existing code uses a different style. To save reviewers from having to request this trivial change as frequently, let's normalize the style in all existing IIO drivers. At least when code is copy/pasted to new drivers, the style will be consistent. 2024-12-02module: Convert symbol namespace to string literalPeter Zijlstra1-1/+1
Clean up the existing export namespace code along the same lines of commit 33def8498fdd ("treewide: Convert macro and uses of __section(foo) to __section("foo")") and for the same reason, it is not desired for the namespace argument to be a macro expansion itself. Scripted using git grep -l -e MODULE_IMPORT_NS -e EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS | while read file; do awk -i inplace ' /^#define EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS/ { gsub(/__stringify\(ns\)/, "ns"); print; next; } /^#define MODULE_IMPORT_NS/ { gsub(/__stringify\(ns\)/, "ns"); print; next; } /MODULE_IMPORT_NS/ { $0 = gensub(/MODULE_IMPORT_NS\(([^)]*)\)/, "MODULE_IMPORT_NS(\"\\1\")", "g"); } /EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS/ { if ($0 ~ /(EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS[^(]*)\(([^,]+),/) { if ($0 !~ /(EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS[^(]*)\(([^,]+), ([^)]+)\)/ && $0 !~ /(EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS[^(]*)\(\)/ && $0 !~ /^my/) { getline line; gsub(/[[:space:]]*\\$/, ""); gsub(/[[:space:]]/, "", line); $0 = $0 " " line; } $0 = gensub(/(EXPORT_SYMBOL_NS[^(]*)\(([^,]+), ([^)]+)\)/, "\\1(\\2, \"\\3\")", "g"); } } { print }' $file; done Requested-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Peter Zijlstra (Intel) <peterz@infradead.org> Link: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/#inbox/FMfcgzQXKWgMmjdFwwdsfgxzKpVHWPlc Acked-by: Greg KH <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
2024-02-19iio: pressure: hsc030pa add mandatory delayPetre Rodan1-0/+3
Add a mandatory 2ms delay between consecutive chip reads. A Technical Note pdf specifies that the measurement cycle in these chips takes around 1.26ms. By adding this 2ms delay we make sure that we never get stale measurements. For more details, please see "Figure 1" in the pdf below: https://prod-edam.honeywell.com/content/dam/honeywell-edam/sps/siot/en-us/products/sensors/pressure-sensors/common/documents/sps-siot-sleep-mode-technical-note-008286-1-en-ciid-155793.pdf Signed-off-by: Petre Rodan <petre.rodan@subdimension.ro> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20240211075645.28777-6-petre.rodan@subdimension.ro Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>

2023-12-11iio: pressure: driver for Honeywell HSC/SSC seriesPetre Rodan1-0/+69
Adds driver for digital Honeywell TruStability HSC and SSC series pressure and temperature sensors. Communication is one way. The sensor only requires 4 bytes worth of clock pulses on both i2c and spi in order to push the data out. The i2c address is hardcoded and depends on the part number. There is no additional GPIO control. code is now based on iio/togreg Datasheet: https://prod-edam.honeywell.com/content/dam/honeywell-edam/sps/siot/en-us/products/sensors/pressure-sensors/board-mount-pressure-sensors/trustability-hsc-series/documents/sps-siot-trustability-hsc-series-high-accuracy-board-mount-pressure-sensors-50099148-a-en-ciid-151133.pdf [HSC] Datasheet: https://prod-edam.honeywell.com/content/dam/honeywell-edam/sps/siot/en-us/products/sensors/pressure-sensors/board-mount-pressure-sensors/trustability-ssc-series/documents/sps-siot-trustability-ssc-series-standard-accuracy-board-mount-pressure-sensors-50099533-a-en-ciid-151134.pdf [SSC] Signed-off-by: Petre Rodan <petre.rodan@subdimension.ro> Reviewed-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20231207164634.11998-2-petre.rodan@subdimension.ro Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>
