There's a few components in the rcar-du drm directory that don't make
sense to be selectable if DRM_RCAR_DU isn't because they are part of the

When the R-Car MIPI DSI driver was added, it was a standalone encoder
driver without any dependency to or from the R-Car DU driver. Commit
957fe62d7d15 ("drm: rcar-du: Fix DSI enable & disable sequence") then
added a direct call from the DU driver to the MIPI DSI driver, without

Rename "GEM CMA" helpers to "GEM DMA" helpers - considering the
hierarchy of APIs (mm/cma -> dma -> gem dma) calling them "GEM
DMA" seems to be more applicable.
Besides that, commit e57924d4ae80 ("drm/doc: Task to rename CMA helpers")
requests to rename the CMA helpers and implies that people seem to be
confused about the naming.
In order to do this renaming the following script was used:
```
#!/bin/bash
DIRS="drivers/gpu include/drm Documentation/gpu"
REGEX_SYM_UPPER="[0-9A-Z_\-]"
REGEX_SYM_LOWER="[0-9a-z_\-]"
REGEX_GREP_UPPER="(${REGEX_SYM_UPPER}*)(GEM)_CMA_(${REGEX_SYM_UPPER}*)"
REGEX_GREP_LOWER="(${REGEX_SYM_LOWER}*)(gem)_cma_(${REGEX_SYM_LOWER}*)"
REGEX_SED_UPPER="s/${REGEX_GREP_UPPER}/\1\2_DMA_\3/g"
REGEX_SED_LOWER="s/${REGEX_GREP_LOWER}/\1\2_dma_\3/g"
# Find all upper case 'CMA' symbols and replace them with 'DMA'.
for ff in $(grep -REHl "${REGEX_GREP_UPPER}" $DIRS)
do
sed -i -E "$REGEX_SED_UPPER" $ff
done
# Find all lower case 'cma' symbols and replace them with 'dma'.
for ff in $(grep -REHl "${REGEX_GREP_LOWER}" $DIRS)
do
sed -i -E "$REGEX_SED_LOWER" $ff
done
# Replace all occurrences of 'CMA' / 'cma' in comments and
# documentation files with 'DMA' / 'dma'.
for ff in $(grep -RiHl " cma " $DIRS)
do
sed -i -E "s/ cma / dma /g" $ff
sed -i -E "s/ CMA / DMA /g" $ff
done
# Rename all 'cma_obj's to 'dma_obj'.
for ff in $(grep -RiHl "cma_obj" $DIRS)
do
sed -i -E "s/cma_obj/dma_obj/g" $ff
done
```
Only a few more manual modifications were needed, e.g. reverting the
following modifications in some DRM Kconfig files
- select CMA if HAVE_DMA_CONTIGUOUS
+ select DMA if HAVE_DMA_CONTIGUOUS
as well as manually picking the occurrences of 'CMA'/'cma' in comments and
documentation which relate to "GEM CMA", but not "FB CMA".
Also drivers/gpu/drm/Makefile was fixed up manually after renaming
drm_gem_cma_helper.c to drm_gem_dma_helper.c.
This patch is compile-time tested building a x86_64 kernel with
`make allyesconfig && make drivers/gpu/drm`.

The meaning of the 'imply' keyword has changed recently, and neither the
old meaning (select the symbol if its dependencies are met) nor the new
meaning (enable it by default, but let the user set any other setting)
is what we want here.
Work around this by adding two more Kconfig options that lead to
the correct behavior: if DRM_RCAR_USE_CMM and DRM_RCAR_USE_LVDS
are enabled, that portion of the driver becomes usable, and no
configuration results in a link error.
This avoids a link failure:

On the D3 and E3 platforms, the LVDS internal PLL supplies the pixel
clock to the DU. This works automatically for LVDS outputs as the LVDS
encoder is enabled through the bridge API, enabling the internal PLL and
clock output. However, when using the DU DPAD output with the LVDS
outputs turned off, the LVDS PLL needs to be controlled manually. Add an
API to do so, to be called by the DU driver.
The drivers/gpu/drm/rcar-du/ directory has to be treated as obj-y
unconditionally, as the LVDS driver could be built-in while the DU
driver is compiled as a module.

unless build testing. The LVDS output is useful on an even more
reduced hardware set.

For drivers which might want to disable fbdev legacy support.
Select the new option in all drivers for now, so this shouldn't result
in any change. Drivers need some work anyway to make fbdev support
optional (if they have it implemented, that is), so the recommended
way to expose this is by adding per-driver options. At least as long
as most drivers don't support disabling the fbdev support.
v2: Update for new drm drivers msm and rcar-du. Note that Rob's msm
driver can already take advantage of this, which allows us to build
msm without any fbdev depencies in the kernel!
v3: Move the MODULE_* stuff from the fbdev helper file to
drm_crtc_helper.c.

The R-Car Display Unit (DU) DRM driver supports both superposition
processors and all eight planes in RGB and YUV formats with alpha
blending.
Only VGA and LVDS encoders and connectors are currently supported.
