2023-01-12ARM: sa1100: remove unused board filesArnd Bergmann1-140/+0
The Cerf, H3100, Badge4, Hackkit, LART, NanoEngine, PLEB, Shannon and Simpad machines were all marked as unused as there are no known users left. Remove all of these, along with references to them in defconfig files and drivers. Four machines remain now: Assabet, Collie (Zaurus SL5500), iPAQ H3600 and Jornada 720, each of which had one person still using them, with Collie also being supported in Qemu. 2018-12-05ARM: sa1100: explicitly register sa11x0-pcmcia devicesRussell King1-0/+1
Simplify the code by getting rid of the conditional automatic registration of the sa11x0 PCMCIA interfaces in sa1100_init(), and require all platforms to explicitly call sa11x0_register_pcmcia(). Only one platform (iPAQ) is affected by this change. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk>
2014-12-31arm: sa1100: move irda header to linux/platform_dataDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-1/+1
In the end asm/mach/irda.h header is not used by anybody except sa1100. Move the header to the platform data includes dir and rename it to irda-sa11x0.h. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-02-12ARM: 7902/1: sa1100: h3xxx: move serial port GPIO handling to common placeDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-7/+0
Both h3100 and h3600 request UART gpios during init_machine time. As sa1100 gpio driver is going to become proper machine driver, move gpio handling to UART port functions. Request all gpios using gpio_request array once and then guard them from rerequesting with bool variable. 2013-12-13ARM: 7900/1: sa1100: h3100: refactor IrDA GPIO handlingDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-2/+17
As GPIOs are going to move to platform device, there is no guarantee that they will be available at init_machine time. Request and free all GPIOs from IrDA startup/shutdown callbacks and not at init_machine time. 2013-12-13ARM: 7898/1: sa1100: h3100: refactor LCD GPIO handlingDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-8/+27
As GPIOs are going to move to platform device, there is no guarantee that they will be available at init_machine time. Request all GPIOs directly in lcd_power callback and not at init_machine time. 2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren1-1/+1
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. 2012-03-26ARM: 7342/2: sa1100: prepare for sparse irq conversionRob Herring1-0/+2

2012-02-21FB: sa1100: remove global sa1100fb_.*_power function pointersRussell King1-1/+2
Now that we have platform data contained within the individual board code, we can get rid of the global function pointers, placing them inside the platform data instead. Acked-by: Florian Tobias Schandinat <FlorianSchandinat@gmx.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2010-10-20arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_ioNicolas Pitre1-2/+0
Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc. The various declarations were removed using the following script: grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \ sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }' [ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ] Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Acked-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao at canonical.com>

2009-12-06ARM: 5821/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: revise copyright boilerplatesDmitry Artamonow1-16/+7
Correct boilerplates after files split. Also shorten them a bit - use standart GPL wording (as per http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/5/1/220) and drop changelog, which only entry about h3800 support and abstracted EGPIOs is just confusing now, as both of these features are gone. 2009-12-06ARM: 5820/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: split h3600.cDmitry Artamonow1-0/+119
Split common h3600.c into three separate files: h3100.c, h3600.c and h3xxx.c (the latter contains common code for h3100/h3600) Copyright boilerplates and #includes are copied intact and will be cleaned up later.
