2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring1-83/+0
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2020-10-29ARM: dts: exynos: adjust node names to DT spec in Exynos542x boardsKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
The Devicetree specification expects device node names to have a generic name, representing the class of a device. Also the convention for node names is to use hyphens, not underscores. No functional changes. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201027170947.132725-9-krzk@kernel.org
2020-09-06ARM: dts: samsung: odroid-xu3: Move assigned-clock* properties to i2s0 nodeSylwester Nawrocki1-33/+27
The purpose of those assigned-clock-* properties is to configure clock for for the I2S device so move them to respective node. This suppresses the dtbs_check warning: arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos5422-odroidxu3.dt.yaml: sound: 'clocks' is a dependency of 'assigned-clocks' Reported-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2019-03-20ARM: dts: exynos: Fix audio (microphone) routing on Odroid XU3Sylwester Nawrocki1-1/+1
The name of CODEC input widget to which microphone is connected through the "Headphone" jack is "IN12" not "IN1". This fixes microphone support on Odroid XU3. 2019-03-19ARM: dts: exynos: Fix audio routing on Odroid XU3Sylwester Nawrocki1-1/+2
Add missing audio routing entry for the capture stream, this change is required to fix audio recording on Odroid XU3/XU3-Lite. 2019-02-18ARM: dts: exynos: Add support for secondary DAI to Odroid XU3Sylwester Nawrocki1-2/+4
This patch extends DAPM routing and adds secondary CPU DAI entry to support the secondary audio PCM interface on Odroid XU3. Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-12-13ARM: dts: exynos: Specify I2S assigned clocks in proper nodeSylwester Nawrocki1-5/+4
The assigned parent clocks should be normally specified in the consumer device's DT node, this ensures respective driver always sees correct clock settings when required. This patch fixes regression in audio subsystem on Odroid XU3/XU4 boards that appeared after commits: commit 647d04f8e07a ("ASoC: samsung: i2s: Ensure the RCLK rate is properly determined") commit 995e73e55f46 ("ASoC: samsung: i2s: Fix rclk_srcrate handling") commit 48279c53fd1d ("ASoC: samsung: i2s: Prevent external abort on exynos5433 I2S1 access") Without this patch the driver gets wrong clock as the I2S function clock (op_clk) in probe() and effectively the clock which is finally assigned from DT is not being enabled/disabled in the runtime resume/suspend ops. Without the above listed commits the EXYNOS_I2S_BUS clock was always set as parent of CLK_I2S_RCLK_SRC regardless of DT settings so there was no issue with not enabled EXYNOS_SCLK_I2S. 2017-11-27ARM: dts: exynos: Switch to dedicated Odroid XU3 sound card bindingSylwester Nawrocki1-22/+38
The new sound card DT binding is used for Odroid XU3 in order to properly support the HDMI audio path. Clocks configuration is changed so the I2S controller is now the bit clock and the frame clock master. The EPLL output clock is now the audio root clock adjusted to each audio sample rate. 2017-09-30ARM: dts: exynos: Move audio clocks configuration to odroidxu3-audio.dtsiMarek Szyprowski1-0/+13
Audio subsystem clocks configuration is a part of audio block, so there it should be moved to exynos5422-odroidxu3-audio.dtsi to avoid it on Odroid XU4, which has no audio codec. 2015-09-17ARM: dts: Split audio configuration to separate exynos5422-odroidxu3-audioKrzysztof Kozlowski1-0/+61
The Odroid XU4 board does not have audio codec so before adding DTS for new board split the audio codec to separate DTSI file. Include the audio codec DTSI in Odroid XU3 and XU3-Lite boards.
