SVGC — SVG C Library
SVGC is a C library for programmatically creating Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) documents.
The library provides functions for drawing geometric primitives, paths, text, gradients,
and styled graphical objects. It is intended for scientific visualization, technical diagrams,
mathematical illustrations, and reproducible vector graphics.
SVGC generates standard SVG documents that can be displayed in web browsers, edited with
SVG-compatible applications, or converted to vector PDF for use in scientific publications.
SVGC uses GNU Autotools.
Building and Installation:
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make check
make install
The installation prefix can be changed as needed.
Using the Library:
SVGC provides the public header svgc.h and a shared library.
Compiler and linker options can be obtained using pkg-config:
pkg-config --cflags --libs svgc
The source distribution includes examples demonstrating the library's main features.
