2025-08-07treewide: rename GPIO set callbacks back to their original namesBartosz Golaszewski1-2/+2
The conversion of all GPIO drivers to using the .set_rv() and .set_multiple_rv() callbacks from struct gpio_chip (which - unlike their predecessors - return an integer and allow the controller drivers to indicate failures to users) is now complete and the legacy ones have been removed. 2025-04-23irqdomain: ssb: Switch to irq_domain_create_linear()Jiri Slaby (SUSE)1-4/+4
irq_domain_add_linear() is going away as being obsolete now. Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_linear(). That differs in the first parameter: It takes more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the parameter. Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW). 2022-09-19ssb: gpio: Use generic_handle_irq_safe()Sebastian Andrzej Siewior1-2/+4
On PREEMPT_RT enabled kernels the demultiplex interrupt handler is force threaded and runs with interrupts enabled. The invocation of generic_handle_domain_irq() with interrupts enabled triggers a lockdep warning due to a non-irq safe lock acquisition. Instead of disabling interrupts on the driver level, use generic_handle_domain_irq_safe(). 2013-01-31ssb: add gpio_to_irqHauke Mehrtens1-0/+22
The old bcm47xx gpio code had support for gpio_to_irq, but the new code did not provide this function, but returned -ENXIO all the time. This patch adds the missing function. arch/mips/bcm47xx/wgt634u.c calls gpio_to_irq() and got the correct irq number with the old gpio handling code. Register a GPIO driver to access the GPIOs provided by the chip. The GPIOs of the SoC should always start at 0 and the other GPIOs could start at a random position. There is just one SoC in a system and when they start at 0 the number is predictable.
