2025-05-21iio: adc: PAC1934: fix typo in documentation linkMarius Cristea1-1/+1
Fix a typo,(PAC1934 -> PAC193X), into the link from an application note related to the ACPI device definition. Fixes: 0fb528c8255b ("iio: adc: adding support for PAC193x") Reported-by: Matteo Martelli <matteomartelli3@gmail.com> Closes: https://patch.msgid.link/172794015844.2520.11909797050797595912@njaxe.localdomain Signed-off-by: Marius Cristea <marius.cristea@microchip.com> Reviewed-by: David Lechner <dlechner@baylibre.com> Link: https://patch.msgid.link/20250424-pac1934-doc_link-v1-1-9832445cb270@microchip.com Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>
2024-10-28iio: adc: pac1934: Replace strange way of checking type of enumerationAndy Shevchenko1-1/+1
When device is enumerated via ACPI the respective device node is of ACPI device type. Use that to check for ACPI enumeration, rather than calling for full match which is O(n) vs. O(1) for the regular check. 2024-10-03move asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.hAl Viro1-1/+1
asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h; might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include that - there's nothing arch-specific in that header. auto-generated by the following: for i in `git grep -l -w asm/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done for i in `git grep -l -w asm-generic/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm-generic\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done git mv include/asm-generic/unaligned.h include/linux/unaligned.h git mv tools/include/asm-generic/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h sed -i -e "/unaligned.h/d" include/asm-generic/Kbuild sed -i -e "s/__ASM_GENERIC/__LINUX/" include/linux/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h
2024-09-05iio: adc: standardize on formatting for id match tablesJonathan Cameron1-3/+3
This is a frequent minor comment in reviews, so start cleaning up existing drivers in the hope we get fewer cases of cut and paste. There are not kernel wide rules for these, but for IIO the style that I prefer (and hence most common) is: - Space after { and before } - No comma after terminator { } This may cause merge conflicts but they should be trivial to resolve hence I have not broken this into per driver patches. 'samp_rate_mapping' has been unused since the original commit 0fb528c8255b ("iio: adc: adding support for PAC193x"). Remove it. 2024-05-03iio: adc: PAC1934: fix accessing out of bounds array indexMarius Cristea1-0/+9
Fix accessing out of bounds array index for average current and voltage measurements. The device itself has only 4 channels, but in sysfs there are "fake" channels for the average voltages and currents too. simplify error handling. Also change both firmware parsing functions to return meaningful errors. Whilst for the ACPI case this isn't that useful, for the generic fwnode case we can return the errors coming from the property parsing instead of just whether we succeeded or not.
