2019-02-21s390/net: convert pnetids to asciiHans Wippel1-0/+3
Pnetids are retrieved from the underlying hardware as EBCDIC. This patch converts pnetids to ASCII. Signed-off-by: Hans Wippel <hwippel@linux.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Ursula Braun <ubraun@linux.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2019-02-08s390/net: move pnet constantsUrsula Braun1-0/+8
There is no need to define these PNETID related constants in the pnet.h file, since they are just used locally within pnet.c. Just code cleanup, no functional change. Signed-off-by: Ursula Braun <ubraun@linux.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2018-05-30s390/net: add pnetid supportUrsula Braun1-0/+80
s390 hardware supports the definition of a so-call Physical NETwork IDentifier (short PNETID) per network device port. These PNETIDS can be used to identify network devices that are attached to the same physical network (broadcast domain). This patch provides the interface to extract the PNETID of a port of a device attached to the ccw-bus or pci-bus. Parts of this patch are based on an initial implementation by Thomas Richter.
