2023-01-20ARM: pxa: remove unused board filesArnd Bergmann1-392/+0
The majority of all pxa board files has not been touched in a long time, and no users have spoken up in favor of keeping them around. This leaves only support for the platforms that were already converted to DT, as well as the gumstix and spitz/akita/borzoi machines that work in qemu and can still be converted to DT later. 2018-12-17mmc: pxa: Use GPIO descriptor for powerLinus Walleij1-2/+3
After converting the PXA driver to use GPIO descriptors for card detect and write protect it is relatively simple to convert it to also use a descriptor for getting the optional power control GPIO. The polarity inversion flag can also go away from the platform data since this is indicated in the GPIO machine descriptor table. This deletes the platform data passed for card detect and write protect from various PXA machines. The Palm27x devices set up the MMC card detect and write protect lines with a special helper function. Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. Replace sysdev classes and struct sys_device objects used for "core" power management by the PXA platform code with struct syscore_ops objects that are simpler. 2010-05-11[ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao1-1/+1
delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result. 2009-12-01[ARM] pxa: allow platforms to control which uarts are registeredRussell King1-0/+4
For some platforms, it is inappropriate to register all PXA UARTs. In some cases, the UARTs may not be used, and in others we may want to avoid registering the UARTs to allow other drivers (eg, FICP) to make use of the UART. In addition, a while back there was a request to be able to pass platform data to the UART driver. This patch enables all of this by providing functions platforms can call to register each individual UART. Several boards use always the same pattern with pxamci : request gpio, request irq for that gpio to detect MMC card insertion, request gpio for read-only mode detection, etc ... Now that pxamci provides platform_data to describe simple gpio management of the MMC external controls, use it.
