The MT9M114 supports the different slew rates (0 to 7) on the output pads.
At the moment, this is hardcoded to 7 (the fastest rate).
The user might want to change this values due to EMC requirements.
Add the 'slew-rate' property to the MT9M114 DT-bindings for selecting
the desired slew rate.

Since commit 98e0500eadb7 ("media: i2c: imx290: Add configurable link
frequency and pixel rate") the driver expects two specific
link-frequency settings 2-lane (445500000, 297000000) and 4-lane
(222750000, 148500000) operation. The driver fails to probe without
these exact settings.
Update the example in the bindings to match this to make it easier for
users to incorporate this sensor in their device tree descriptions
without having to read the driver sources when the driver fails to
probe.

The serializer's I2C address on the FPD-Link bus is usually communicated
to the deserializer once the forward-channel is established. But in some
cases it might be necessary to program the serializer (over the
back-channel) before the forward-channel is established.
This can be used e.g. to correct serializer configuration which
otherwise would prevent the FC to be enabled. To be able to communicate
to the serializer before the forward-channel is up, the deserializer
driver neds to know the default i2c address of the serializer.
Allow setting the serializer i2c address using the 'reg' property. This
is optional, and usually not needed.

because 'adv' is not a valid vendor prefix defined in

The correct vendor prefix for Analog Devices is 'adi', so change

Remove extraneous assigned-clock* from media/i2c/* schemas.
assigned-clock and assigned-clock-parent assume that there is a clock that
can be assigned and/or a clock parent that similarly can be assigned by
firmware which may not always be the case.
The sensor properties themselves should not mandate assigned-clock* as a
result.

The MAX96712 and MAX96724 are both quad GMSL2 to CSI-2 deserializers and
are in parts similar, but not identical. The most obvious difference is
on the CSI-2 side where the MAX96712 have 4 PHYs and support D-PHY with
1x4, 2x2 and 4x2 lanes where the MAX96724 only have 2 PHYs and supports
D-PHY with 2x4 or 4x2 lanes.
The register layout overlap in part but there are differences and holes.
Most of the differences are related to the different number of CSI-2
PHYs, but there are other capability differences between the two.
Add a specific compatible for MAX96724 to the max96712 bindings. The
bindings do not yet support validating all DT properties to limit it the
each devices capabilities. However to allow for this in future a
specific compatible for the two different devices are needed.

Schemas for array properties should only have 1 level of array
constraints (e.g. items, maxItems, minItems). Sometimes the old
encoding of all properties into a matrix leaked into the schema, and
didn't matter for validation. Now the inner constraints are just
silently ignored as json-schema array keywords are ignored on scalar
values.
Generally, keep the inner constraints and drop the outer "items". With
gicv3 "mbi-alias" property, it is more appropriately a uint32 or uint64
as it is an address and size depends on "#address-cells".

It's easy to get the polarity of GPIOs in the device tree wrong, as
shown by a recently fixed bug in the imx335 driver. To lower the chance
of future mistakes, especially in new bindings that would take the
imx335 binding as a starting point, add the reset-gpios property to the
DT example. This showcases the correct polarity of the XCLR signal for
Sony sensors in the most common case of the signal not being inverted on

The original .txt bindings had the OV2680 power supply names correct,
but the transition from .txt to yaml spelled them incorrectly.
Fix the OV2680 power supply names as the original .txt bindings
as these are the names used by the OV2680 driver and in devicetree.

The port@0 node doesn't define any extra properties in the port or endpoint
nodes, so the $ref should be to "/properties/port" instead as it restricts
extra properties.

The data lanes and link frequency were set to match existing Linux driver
limitations, however bindings should be independent of chosen Linux
driver support.
Decouple these properties from the driver to match what is actually
supported by the hardware.
This also fixes DTS example:
ov8856.example.dtb: camera@10: port:endpoint:link-frequencies:0: [360000000] is too short
