Pull backlight updates from Lee Jones:
"Core Framework:
- Remove unused/obsolete code/comments
New Functionality:
- Allow less granular brightness specification for high-res PWMs; pwm_bl
- Align brightness {inc,dec}rements with that perceived by the human-eye; pwm_bl
