2025-07-08MdeModulePkg: Remove UGA supportGuoMinJ2-178/+55
The Universal Graphics Adapter (UGA) is a graphic abstraction. The UGA I/O and Draw protocols are deprecated since UEFI 2.0 was introduced. Cf. the UEFI spec v2.9: "Appendix L - EFI 1.10 Protocol Changes and Deprecation List" section L.2 "Deprecated Protocols" Remove the UGA support. Removing rules for Ipf sources file: * Remove the source file which path with "ipf" and also listed in [Sources.IPF] section of INF file. * Remove the source file which listed in [Components.IPF] section of DSC file and not listed in any other [Components] section. * Remove the embedded Ipf code for MDE_CPU_IPF. Removing rules for Inf file: * Remove IPF from VALID_ARCHITECTURES comments. * Remove DXE_SAL_DRIVER from LIBRARY_CLASS in [Defines] section. * Remove the INF which only listed in [Components.IPF] section in DSC. * Remove statements from [BuildOptions] that provide IPF specific flags. * Remove any IPF sepcific sections. Removing rules for Dec file: * Remove [Includes.IPF] section from Dec. Removing rules for Dsc file: * Remove IPF from SUPPORTED_ARCHITECTURES in [Defines] section of DSC. * Remove any IPF specific sections. * Remove statements from [BuildOptions] that provide IPF specific flags. 1. Change PlatformLogo protocol to return EFI_IMAGE_INPUT instead of RAW image data. PlatformLogo implementation can use HiiImageEx to decode the image if it's JPEG or PNG format. 2. Change BootLogoLib to consume the new PlatformLogo protocol. 3. Change BootLogoEnableLogo() to only use images returned from PlatformLogo protocol. The parameter name is also changed from Coordinate* to Offset* to reflect that it's the offset to the location specified by Attribute. For example, when the Attribute is Center, OffsetX and OffsetY are used to specify the offset to the Center. OffsetX = 100 means 100 pixels right to the Center.
