2024-09-12MdePkg: Move AsmMacroIoLib*.h from ArmPkgOliver Smith-Denny2-2/+2
AsmMacroIoLib.h and AsmMacroIoLibV8.h are used by the CompilerIntrinsicsLib, which is moving to MdePkg. These functions provide standard definitions for ARM/AARCH64 assembly code, respectively, and so are moved to the arch directories in MdePkg to avoid MdePkg having a dependency on ArmPkg. Now that the files are in Arm/ and AArch64/ directories, the filenames are changed to AsmMacroLib.h as we can distinguish the architecture from the path. Remove the ClusterId and CoreId fields in the ARM_CORE_INFO structure in favor of a new Mpidr field. Update code in ArmPlatformPkg/PrePeiCore/MainMPCore and ArmPlatformPkg/PrePi/MainMPCore.c to use the new field and call new macros GET_MPIDR_AFF0 and GET_MPIDR_AFF1 instead. This patch fixes the following Ecc reported error: File header doesn't exist File header comment missing the ""Copyright"" Even though a copyright is present in the header file, the leading '*' char prevents the Ecc tool from detecting it. According to the edk2 coding specifcation, section 5.2.3 "File Heading", there should not be leading '*' char. ArmPlatformLibNullSec is built from a secondary .inf that omits ArmPlatformLibNullMem.c from the [Sources] section so the library can be used in a SEC context. This is slightly dodgy, given that the resulting library is incomplete. Let's just remove this version, since it isn't used anywhere anyway. The RVCT .asm files include AsmMacroIoLib.h only for the definition of LoadConstantToReg (), which makes it tedious to make change to that file without the risk of making the RVCT assembler unhappy. So simply replace LoadConstantToReg() with mov32, which does the right thing in all cases. ArmPlatformGetPrimaryCoreMpId returns the MPID of the primary core. The primary core might not be known at build time (eg: the platform allows the boot CPU to be changed through board config). This function is used during the secondary core stack initialization to know the position of the secondary core in the SoC. A secondary core that is at the position N, with N greater than the primary core position, will be at the position N-1 in the list of secondary stacks (the primary core has its own separate bigger stack). Checking if a core if the primary/boot core used to be done with the macro IS_PRIMARY_CORE(). Some platforms exposes configuration registers to change the primary core. Replacing the macro IS_PRIMARY_CORE() by ArmPlatformIsPrimaryCore() allows some flexibility in the way to check the primary core.
