2021-08-17phy: phy-mtk-hdmi: convert to devm_platform_ioremap_resourceChunfeng Yun1-5/+2
Use devm_platform_ioremap_resource to simplify code Acked-by: Chun-Kuang Hu <chunkuang.hu@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Chunfeng Yun <chunfeng.yun@mediatek.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/1629191987-20774-7-git-send-email-chunfeng.yun@mediatek.com Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vkoul@kernel.org>
2021-06-14phy: phy-mtk-hdmi: Remove redundant dev_err call in mtk_hdmi_phy_probe()He Ying1-3/+1
There is a error message within devm_ioremap_resource already, so remove the dev_err call to avoid redundant error message. 2021-02-04phy: mediatek: Add missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE()Boris Brezillon1-0/+1
This patch adds the missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE definitions on different Mediatek phy drivers which generates correct modalias for automatic loading when these drivers are compiled as an external module. 2020-12-08drm/mediatek: avoid dereferencing a null hdmi_phy on an error messageColin Ian King1-2/+3
Currently there is a null pointer check for hdmi_phy that implies it may be null, however a dev_err messages dereferences this potential null pointer. Avoid a null pointer dereference by only emitting the dev_err message if hdmi_phy is non-null. It is a moot point if the error message needs to be printed at all, but since this is a relatively new piece of code it may be useful to keep the message in for the moment in case there are unforseen errors that need to be reported. 2020-12-07phy: mediatek: statify mtk_hdmi_phy_driverVinod Koul1-1/+1
mtk_hdmi_phy_driver is not declared as static, so statify it. drivers/phy/mediatek/phy-mtk-hdmi.c:204:24: warning: symbol 'mtk_hdmi_phy_driver' was not declared. Should it be static? 2020-09-14drm/mediatek: Disable tmds on mt2701chunhui dai1-0/+3
Without that patch if you use specific resolutions like 1280x1024, I can see distortion in the output. It seems as if the frequency for updating the pixel of the image is out of sync. For initialization tmds needs to be active, but can be disabled after init to fix blurry display Signed-off-by: chunhui dai <chunhui.dai@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Frank Wunderlich <frank-w@public-files.de> Tested-by: Frank Wunderlich <frank-w@public-files.de> Signed-off-by: Chun-Kuang Hu <chunkuang.hu@kernel.org>
2020-09-06phy: mediatek: Move mtk_hdmi_phy driver into drivers/phy/mediatek folderCK Hu1-0/+211
mtk_hdmi_phy is currently placed inside mediatek drm driver, but it's more suitable to place a phy driver into phy driver folder, so move mtk_hdmi_phy driver into phy driver folder.
