2020-09-04crypto: powerpc/crc-vpmsum_test - Fix sparse endianness warningHerbert Xu1-2/+3
This patch fixes a sparse endianness warning by changing crc32 to __le32 instead of u32: CHECK ../arch/powerpc/crypto/crc-vpmsum_test.c ../arch/powerpc/crypto/crc-vpmsum_test.c:102:39: warning: cast from restricted __le32 Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2020-08-20crypto: algapi - Remove skbuff.h inclusionHerbert Xu1-0/+1
The header file algapi.h includes skbuff.h unnecessarily since all we need is a forward declaration for struct sk_buff. This patch removes that inclusion. Unfortunately skbuff.h pulls in a lot of things and drivers over the years have come to rely on it so this patch adds a lot of missing inclusions that result from this. 2019-11-13powerpc/crypto: Add cond_resched() in crc-vpmsum self-testChris Smart1-0/+1
The stress test for vpmsum implementations executes a long for loop in the kernel. This blocks the scheduler, which prevents other tasks from running, resulting in a warning. This fix adds a call to cond_reshed() at the end of each loop, which allows the scheduler to run other tasks as required. 2019-04-20powerpc/crypto: Use cheaper random numbers for crc-vpmsum self-testGeorge Spelvin1-7/+3
This code was filling a 64K buffer from /dev/urandom in order to compute a CRC over (on average half of) it by two different methods, comparing the CRCs, and repeating. This is not a remotely security-critical application, so use the far faster and cheaper prandom_u32() generator. And, while we're at it, only fill as much of the buffer as we plan to use. 2017-03-24crypto: powerpc - Stress test for vpmsum implementationsDaniel Axtens1-0/+137
vpmsum implementations often don't kick in for short test vectors. This is a simple test module that does a configurable number of random tests, each up to 64kB and each with random offsets. Both CRC-T10DIF and CRC32C are tested. Cc: Anton Blanchard <anton@samba.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel Axtens <dja@axtens.net> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
