2019-08-16 | ia64: remove support for the SGI SN2 platform | Christoph Hellwig | 1 | -71/+0
The SGI SN2 (early Altix) is a very non-standard IA64 platform that was at the very high end of even IA64 hardware, and has been discontinued a long time ago. Remove it because there no upstream users left, and it has magic hooks all over the kernel. 2006-02-07 | [IA64-SGI] - Eliminate SN pio_phys_xxx macros. Move to assembly | Jack Steiner | 1 | -0/+71
Rewrite the SN pio_phys_xxx macros in assembly language. This avoids issues with the Intel icc compiler. Function call overhead is not an issue - the functions reference PIOs and take 100's nsec to complete. In addition, the functions should likely be in assembly language anyway - they reference memory using physical addressing mode. One function executes with psr.ic disabled.
