2021-04-06soc: fsl: guts: fix comment syntax in fileAditya Srivastava1-2/+2
The opening comment mark '/**' is used for kernel-doc comments. There are certain comments in include/linux/fsl/guts.h which follows this syntax, but the content inside does not comply with kernel-doc. E.g., opening comment for "Freecale 85xx and 86xx Global Utilties register set" follows kernel-doc syntax(i.e., '/**'), but the content inside does not comply with any kernel-doc specification (function, struct, etc). This causes unwelcomed warning from kernel-doc: "warning: expecting prototype for Freecale 85xx and 86xx Global Utilties register set(). Prototype was for __FSL_GUTS_H__() instead" Replace all such comment occurrences with general comment format, i.e. '/*' to pervent kernel-doc from parsing these. 2019-02-26soc: fsl: guts: make fsl_guts_get_svr() staticHoria Geantă1-2/+0
The export of fsl_guts_get_svr() is a left-over, it's currently used only internally and users needing SoC information should use the generic soc_device infrastructure. 2016-11-29soc: fsl: add GUTS driver for QorIQ platformsyangbo lu1-48/+77
The global utilities block controls power management, I/O device enabling, power-onreset(POR) configuration monitoring, alternate function selection for multiplexed signals, and clock control. This patch adds a driver to manage and access global utilities block. Initially only reading SVR and registering soc device are supported. Other guts accesses, such as reading RCW, should eventually be moved into this driver as well. 2016-03-05powerpc/rcpm: add RCPM driverchenhui zhao1-0/+105
There is a RCPM (Run Control/Power Management) in Freescale QorIQ series processors. The device performs tasks associated with device run control and power management. The driver implements some features: mask/unmask irq, enter/exit low power states, freeze time base, etc. Signed-off-by: Chenhui Zhao <chenhui.zhao@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Tang Yuantian <Yuantian.Tang@freescale.com> [scottwood: remove __KERNEL__ ifdef] Signed-off-by: Scott Wood <oss@buserror.net>
