2011-11-01usb: Add module.h to drivers/usb consumers who really use it.Paul Gortmaker1-0/+1
The situation up to this point meant that module.h was pretty much everywhere, regardless of whether you asked for it or not. We are fixing that, so give the USB folks who want it an actual include of it. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
2010-12-11USB: whci-hcd: fix compiler warningNamhyung Kim1-1/+1
Annotate whci_hcd_id_table as '__used' to fix following warning: CC drivers/usb/host/whci/hcd.o drivers/usb/host/whci/hcd.c:359: warning: ‘whci_hcd_id_table’ defined but not used Signed-off-by: Namhyung Kim <namhyung@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2010-08-11USB: convert usb_hcd bitfields into atomic flagsAlan Stern1-1/+1
This patch (as1393) converts several of the single-bit fields in struct usb_hcd to atomic flags. This is for safety's sake; not all CPUs can update bitfield values atomically, and these flags are used in multiple contexts. The flag fields that are set only during registration or removal can remain as they are, since non-atomic accesses at those times will not cause any problems. (Strictly speaking, the authorized_default flag should become atomic as well. I didn't bother with it because it gets changed only via sysfs. It can be done later, if anyone wants.) 2009-12-11USB: whci-hcd: support urbs with scatter-gather listsDavid Vrabel1-0/+1
Support urbs with scatter-gather lists by trying to fit sg list elements into page lists in one or more qTDs. qTDs must end on a wMaxPacketSize boundary so if this isn't possible the urb's sg list must be copied into bounce buffers. 2009-09-23USB: whci-hcd: make endpoint_reset method asyncDavid Vrabel1-2/+6
usb_hcd_endpoint_reset() may be called in atomic context and must not sleep. So make whci-hcd's endpoint_reset() asynchronous. URBs submitted while the reset is in progress will be queued (on the std list) and transfers will resume once the reset is complete. 2009-04-17USB: whci-hcd: provide a endpoint_reset methodDavid Vrabel1-0/+23
Provide a endpoint_reset method to reset sequence number and current window. This QHead information can only be changed while the qset is not in a schedule. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2008-11-26wusb: add debug files for ASL, PZL and DI to the whci-hcd driverDavid Vrabel1-0/+3
Add asl, pzl and di debugfs files to uwb/uwbN/wusbhc for WHCI host controller. These dump the current ASL, PZL and DI buffer. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com>
2008-11-19uwb: add basic radio managerDavid Vrabel1-2/+0
The UWB radio manager coordinates the use of the radio between the PALs that may be using it. PALs request use of the radio with uwb_radio_start() and the radio manager will start beaconing if its not already doing so. When the last PAL has called uwb_radio_stop() beaconing will be stopped. In the future, the radio manager will have a more sophisticated channel selection algorithm, probably following the Channel Selection Policy from the WiMedia Alliance when it is finalized. For now, channel 9 (BG1, TFC1) is selected. The user may override the channel selected by the radio manager and may force the radio to stop beaconing. The WUSB Host Controller PAL makes use of this and there are two new debug PAL commands that can be used for testing. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com>

2008-09-17wusb: WHCI host controller driverDavid Vrabel1-0/+339
A driver for Wireless USB host controllers that comply with the Wireless Host Controller Interface (HCI) specification as published by Intel. The latest publically available version of the specification (0.95) is supported (except for isochronous transfers).
