2021-10-17scsi: snic: Switch to attribute groupsBart Van Assche1-1/+1
struct device supports attribute groups directly but does not support struct device_attribute directly. Hence switch to attribute groups. 2019-01-29scsi: snic: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functionsGreg Kroah-Hartman1-12/+2
When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should never do something different based on this. 2018-12-19scsi: flip the default on use_clusteringChristoph Hellwig1-1/+0
Most SCSI drivers want to enable "clustering", that is merging of segments so that they might span more than a single page. Remove the ENABLE_CLUSTERING define, and require drivers to explicitly set DISABLE_CLUSTERING to disable this feature. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Martin K. 2017-01-06scsi: snic: Return error code on memory allocation failureBurak Ok1-0/+3
If a call to mempool_create_slab_pool() in snic_probe() returns NULL, return -ENOMEM to indicate failure. mempool_creat_slab_pool() only fails if it cannot allocate memory. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189061 Reported-by: bianpan2010@ruc.edu.cn Signed-off-by: Burak Ok <burak-kernel@bur0k.de> Signed-off-by: Andreas Schaertl <andreas.schaertl@fau.de> Acked-by: Narsimhulu Musini <nmusini@cisco.com> Reviewed-by: Ewan D. 2015-11-10scsi: use host wide tags by defaultChristoph Hellwig1-10/+0
This patch changes the !blk-mq path to the same defaults as the blk-mq I/O path by always enabling block tagging, and always using host wide tags. We've had blk-mq available for a few releases so bugs with this mode should have been ironed out, and this ensures we get better coverage of over tagging setup over different configs. 2015-06-20snic: driver for Cisco SCSI HBANarsimhulu Musini1-0/+1044
Cisco has developed a new PCI HBA interface called sNIC, which stands for SCSI NIC. This is a new storage feature supported on specialized network adapter. The new PCI function provides a uniform host interface and abstracts backend storage.
