2012-11-29pcmcia: remove use of __devinitBill Pemberton1-1/+1
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option so __devinit is no longer needed. 2012-02-21PCMCIA: soc_common: remove explicit wrprot initialization in socket driversRussell King1-1/+0
soc_common already initializes state.wrprot to zero, so explicitly setting wrprot to zero in the socket drivers has no additional effect. Acked-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2012-02-21PCMCIA: sa11x0: h3600: convert to use new irq/gpio managementRussell King1-80/+15
Convert iPAQ socket driver to use the new irq/gpio management. As this already uses the GPIO subsystem, these changes are localized to just the PCMCIA directory. Acked-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-11-10pcmcia/sa1100: don't put machine specific init functions in .init.textUwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
These are called by sa11x0_drv_pcmcia_probe (which is marked now with __devinit) so they can go to .devinit.text now, too. This fixes: WARNING: drivers/pcmcia/sa1100_cs.o(.text+0x10): Section mismatch in reference from the function sa11x0_drv_pcmcia_probe() to the function .init.text:pcmcia_simpad_init() The function sa11x0_drv_pcmcia_probe() references the function __init pcmcia_simpad_init(). This is often because sa11x0_drv_pcmcia_probe lacks a __init annotation or the annotation of pcmcia_simpad_init is wrong. and a similar warning for pcmcia_collie_init, pcmcia_cerf_init, pcmcia_h3600_init and pcmcia_shannon_init. While at it mark pcmcia_assabet_init with __devinit, too. 2009-12-06ARM: 5824/1: SA1100: reuse h3600 PCMCIA driver on h3100Dmitry Artamonow1-1/+1
Both iPAQs h3600 and h3100 share the same control GPIOs for PCMCIA, so driver can be reused. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5819/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: merge h3600.h and h3600_gpio.h into h3xxx.hDmitry Artamonow1-2/+1
Combine both headers into one, rename to h3xxx.h and change all users accordingly. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5814/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: convert all users of assign_h3600_egpio to ↵Dmitry Artamonow1-12/+45
gpiolib Use of gpio_request/gpio_free in some callbacks may look ugly, but corresponding drivers (sa1100_serial and sa1100_fb) don't provide (yet) init/exit hooks and registering these gpios in *_mach_init is also not possible, because htc-gpio driver starts a bit later... 2009-12-06ARM: 5811/2: pcmcia: convert sa1100_h3600 driver to gpiolibDmitry Artamonow1-11/+71
Convert all operations with GPLR/GPCR/GPSR to gpiolibs calls. Also change all IRQ_GPIO* to gpio_to_irq(*GPIO*) Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-11-09PCMCIA: stop duplicating pci_irq in soc_pcmcia_socketRussell King - ARM Linux1-2/+2
skt->irq is a mere duplication of pcmcia_socket's pci_irq member. Get rid of it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net>
2009-03-15[ARM] 5426/1: h3600: remove clr_h3600_egpio/set_h3600_egpio helpersDmitry Artamonow1-13/+10
Replace all occurences with assign_h3600_egpio. Also simplify code a bit by replacing couple of if-else statements with one-line equivalents. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King1-2/+2
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King1-1/+1
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-02-14[PATCH] remove many unneeded #includes of sched.hTim Schmielau1-1/+0
After Al Viro (finally) succeeded in removing the sched.h #include in module.h recently, it makes sense again to remove other superfluous sched.h includes. There are quite a lot of files which include it but don't actually need anything defined in there. Presumably these includes were once needed for macros that used to live in sched.h, but moved to other header files in the course of cleaning it up. To ease the pain, this time I did not fiddle with any header files and only removed #includes from .c-files, which tend to cause less trouble. Compile tested against 2.6.20-rc2 and 2.6.20-rc2-mm2 (with offsets) on alpha, arm, i386, ia64, mips, powerpc, and x86_64 with allnoconfig, defconfig, allmodconfig, and allyesconfig as well as a few randconfigs on x86_64 and all configs in arch/arm/configs on arm. I also checked that no new warnings were introduced by the patch (actually, some warnings are removed that were emitted by unnecessarily included header files). Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
