2022-07-19mfd: max77620: Fix refcount leak in max77620_initialise_fpsMiaoqian Lin1-0/+2
of_get_child_by_name() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak. 2020-05-26mfd: max77620: Use single-byte writes on MAX77620Thierry Reding1-0/+1
The MAX77620 doesn't support bulk writes, so make sure the regmap code breaks bulk writes into multiple single-byte writes. Note that this is mostly cosmetic because currently only the RTC sub- driver uses bulk writes and the RTC driver ends up using a different regmap on the MAX77620 anyway. However, it seems like a good idea to make this change now in order to avoid running into issues if bulk writes are ever used by other sub-drivers sometime down the road. 2019-11-11mfd: max77620: Do not allocate IRQs upfrontThierry Reding1-3/+2
regmap_add_irq_chip() will try to allocate all of the IRQ descriptors upfront if passed a non-zero irq_base parameter. However, the intention is to allocate IRQ descriptors on an as-needed basis if possible. Pass 0 instead of -1 to fix that use-case. 2019-07-25mfd: max77620: Add of_node_put() before returnNishka Dasgupta1-1/+3
Each iteration of for_each_child_of_node puts the previous node, but in the case of a return from the middle of the loop, there is no put, thus causing a memory leak. Hence add an of_node_put before the return. Issue found with Coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Nishka Dasgupta <nishkadg.linux@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>

2016-06-30mfd: max77620: Fix FPS switch statementsRhyland Klein1-0/+2
When configuring FPS during probe, assuming a DT node is present for FPS, the code can run into a problem with the switch statements in max77620_config_fps() and max77620_get_fps_period_reg_value(). Namely, in the case of chip->chip_id == MAX77620, it will set fps_[mix|max]_period but then fall through to the default switch case and return -EINVAL. Returning this from max77620_config_fps() will cause probe to fail. 2016-06-29mfd: max77620: Mask/unmask interrupt before/after servicing itLaxman Dewangan1-9/+46
The programming guidelines of the MAX77620 for servicing interrupt is: 1. When interrupt occurs from PMIC, mask the PMIC interrupt by setting GLBLM. 2. Read IRQTOP and service the interrupt. 3. Once all interrupts has been checked and serviced, the interrupt service routine un-masks the hardware interrupt line by clearing GLBLM. Add the pre and post interrupt service handler for mask and unmask the global interrupt mask bit (for step 1 and 3) as callback from regmap-irq. 2016-06-29mfd: max77620: Make it explicitly non-modularPaul Gortmaker1-10/+2
The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is: drivers/mfd/Kconfig:config MFD_MAX77620 drivers/mfd/Kconfig: bool "Maxim Semiconductor MAX77620 and MAX20024 PMIC Support" ...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the modular code that is essentially orphaned, so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. Since module_i2c_driver() uses the same init level priority as builtin_i2c_driver() the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. Also note that MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE is a no-op for non-modular code. We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tag etc. since all that information was (or is now) contained at the top of the file in the comments.
