2020-08-18media: i2c: Use the new get_mbus_config pad opJacopo Mondi1-3/+4
Move the existing users of the g_mbus_config video operation to use the newly introduced get_mbus_config pad operations. All the ported drivers report a static media bus configuration and do no support s_mbus_config so the operation implementation has not changed. 2019-08-13media: i2c: Convert to new i2c device probe()Kieran Bingham1-3/+2
The I2C core framework provides a simplified probe framework from commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"). These drivers do not utilise the i2c_device_id table in the probe, so we can easily convert them to utilise the simplified i2c driver registration. 2019-07-23media: media/i2c: don't return ENOTTY if SUBDEV_API is not setHans Verkuil1-1/+1
If CONFIG_VIDEO_V4L2_SUBDEV_API is not set, then it is still possible to call set_fmt for V4L2_SUBDEV_FORMAT_TRY, the result is just not stored. So return 0 instead of -ENOTTY. Calling get_fmt with V4L2_SUBDEV_FORMAT_TRY should return -EINVAL instead of -ENOTTY, after all the get_fmt functionality is still present, just not supported for TRY. 2019-06-24media: mt9m111: fix fw-node refactoringRobert Jarzmik1-3/+5
In the patch refactoring the fw-node, the mt9m111 was broken for all platform_data based platforms, which were the first aim of this driver. Only the devicetree platform are still functional, probably because the testing was done on these. The result is that -EINVAL is systematically return for such platforms, what this patch fixes. 2019-06-22media: mt9m111: add regulator supportRobert Jarzmik1-0/+17
In the soc_camera removal, the board specific power callback was dropped. This at least will remove the power optimization from ezx and em-x270 pxa based boards. As to recreate the same level of functionality, make the mt9m111 have a regulator providing it its power, so that board designers can plug in a gpio based or ldo regulator, mimicking their former soc_camera power hook. 2018-12-05media: mt9m111: add support to select formats and fps for {Q,SXGA}Michael Grzeschik1-0/+165
This patch implements the framerate selection using the skipping and readout power-modi features. The power-modi cut the framerate by half and each context has an independent selection bit. The same applies to the 2x skipping feature. Currently set_fmt don't care about the streaming status, so the format can be changed during streaming. This can lead into wrong behaviours. Check if the device is already streaming and return -EBUSY to avoid wrong behaviours. The V4L2 sub-device API does not support the crop default target. A number of drivers apparently still did support this, likely as it was needed by the SoC camera framework. Drop support for the default crop rectaingle in sub-device drivers, and use the bounds rectangle in SoC camera instead. The v4l2_subdev_ops structure is only passed as the third argument of v4l2_i2c_subdev_init, which is const, so the v4l2_subdev_ops structure can be const as well. The other structures are only stored in the v4l2_subdev_ops structure, all the fields of which are const, so these structures can also be const. Done with the help of Coccinelle.
