2022-04-28iommu/fsl_pamu: Prepare cleanup of powerpc's asm/prom.hChristophe Leroy1-0/+3
powerpc's asm/prom.h brings some headers that it doesn't need itself. In order to clean it up, first add missing headers in users of asm/prom.h Signed-off-by: Christophe Leroy <christophe.leroy@csgroup.eu> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/06862cca930068e8fa4fdd0b20d74872d3b929d6.1648833431.git.christophe.leroy@csgroup.eu Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
2021-04-07iommu/fsl_pamu: hardcode the window address and size in pamu_config_ppaaceChristoph Hellwig1-19/+4
The win_addr and win_size parameters are always set to 0 and 1 << 36 respectively, so just hard code them. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210401155256.298656-14-hch@lst.de Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
2021-04-07iommu/fsl_pamu: remove the rpn and snoop_id arguments to pamu_config_ppaacChristoph Hellwig1-11/+3
These are always wired to fixed values, so don't bother passing them as arguments. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210401155256.298656-13-hch@lst.de Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
2021-04-07iommu/fsl_pamu: remove support for multiple windowsChristoph Hellwig1-256/+8
The only domains allocated forces use of a single window. Remove all the code related to multiple window support, as well as the need for qman_portal to force a single window. Remove the now unused DOMAIN_ATTR_WINDOWS iommu_attr. 2020-09-18iommu/pamu: Replace use of kzfree with kfree_sensitiveAlex Dewar1-1/+1
kzfree() is effectively deprecated as of commit 453431a54934 ("mm, treewide: rename kzfree() to kfree_sensitive()") and is now simply an alias for kfree_sensitive(). So just replace it with kfree_sensitive(). 2020-06-30iommu/pamu: Use kzfree() in fsl_pamu_probe()Denis Efremov1-4/+1
Use kzfree() instead of opencoded memset with 0 followed by kfree(). Null check is not required since kzfree() checks for NULL internally. 2018-09-28iommu: fsl_pamu: use for_each_of_cpu_node iteratorRob Herring1-1/+1
Use the for_each_of_cpu_node iterator to iterate over cpu nodes. This has the side effect of defaulting to iterating using "cpu" node names in preference to the deprecated (for FDT) device_type == "cpu". 2017-08-23iommu/pamu: Fix PAMU boot crashJoerg Roedel1-17/+0
Commit 68a17f0be6fe introduced an initialization order problem, where devices are linked against an iommu which is not yet initialized. Fix it by initializing the iommu-device before the iommu-ops are registered against the bus. Reported-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au> Fixes: 68a17f0be6fe ('iommu/pamu: Add support for generic iommu-device') Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
2017-08-15iommu/pamu: Add support for generic iommu-deviceJoerg Roedel1-0/+17
This patch adds a global iommu-handle to the pamu driver and initializes it at probe time. Also link devices added to the iommu to this handle. Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
2017-08-15iommu/pamu: WARN when fsl_pamu_probe() is called more than onceJoerg Roedel1-0/+7
The function probes the PAMU hardware from device-tree specifications. It initializes global variables and can thus be only safely called once. Add a check that that prints a warning when its called more than once. Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
2017-07-26iommu: Convert to using %pOF instead of full_nameRob Herring1-12/+8

2015-08-18iommu/fsl: Really fix init section(s) contentEmil Medve1-13/+13
'0f1fb99 iommu/fsl: Fix section mismatch' was intended to address the modpost warning and the potential crash. Crash which is actually easy to trigger with a 'unbind' followed by a 'bind' sequence. The fix is wrong as fsl_of_pamu_driver.driver gets added by bus_add_driver() to a couple of klist(s) which become invalid/corrupted as soon as the init sections are freed. Depending on when/how the init sections storage is reused various/random errors and crashes will happen 'cd70d46 iommu/fsl: Various cleanups' contains annotations that go further down the wrong path laid by '0f1fb99 iommu/fsl: Fix section mismatch' Now remove all the incorrect annotations from the above mentioned patches (not exactly a revert) and those previously existing in the code, This fixes the modpost warning(s), the unbind/bind sequence crashes and the random errors/crashes Fixes: 0f1fb99b62ce ("iommu/fsl: Fix section mismatch") Fixes: cd70d4659ff3 ("iommu/fsl: Various cleanups") Signed-off-by: Emil Medve <Emilian.Medve@Freescale.com> Acked-by: Varun Sethi <Varun.Sethi@freescale.com> Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org Tested-by: Madalin Bucur <Madalin.Bucur@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>

2013-08-14iommu/fsl: Freescale PAMU driver and iommu implementation.Varun Sethi1-0/+1309
Following is a brief description of the PAMU hardware: PAMU determines what action to take and whether to authorize the action on the basis of the memory address, a Logical IO Device Number (LIODN), and PAACT table (logically) indexed by LIODN and address. Hardware devices which need to access memory must provide an LIODN in addition to the memory address. Peripheral Access Authorization and Control Tables (PAACTs) are the primary data structures used by PAMU. A PAACT is a table of peripheral access authorization and control entries (PAACE).Each PAACE defines the range of I/O bus address space that is accessible by the LIOD and the associated access capabilities. There are two types of PAACTs: primary PAACT (PPAACT) and secondary PAACT (SPAACT).A given physical I/O device may be able to act as one or more independent logical I/O devices (LIODs). Each such logical I/O device is assigned an identifier called logical I/O device number (LIODN). A LIODN is allocated a contiguous portion of the I/O bus address space called the DSA window for performing DSA operations. The DSA window may optionally be divided into multiple sub-windows, each of which may be used to map to a region in system storage space. The first sub-window is referred to as the primary sub-window and the remaining are called secondary sub-windows. This patch provides the PAMU driver (fsl_pamu.c) and the corresponding IOMMU API implementation (fsl_pamu_domain.c). The PAMU hardware driver (fsl_pamu.c) has been derived from the work done by Ashish Kalra and Timur Tabi.
