	When configuring input device via input_configured callback we may encounter errors (for example input_mt_init_slots() may fail). Instead of continuing with half-initialized input device let's allow driver indicate failures. 	Some weird remotes are not correctly creating the input device. Their report descriptor starts with: 0x06, 0x00, 0xff, // Usage Page (Vendor Defined Page 1) 0 0xa1, 0x01, // Collection (Application) 3 whereas others (which are correctly handled) start with: 0x05, 0x0c, // Usage Page (Consumer Devices) 0 0x09, 0x01, // Usage (Consumer Control) 2 0xa1, 0x01, // Collection (Application) 4 The rest of the report descriptor is the same. Adding the quirk HID_QUIRK_HIDINPUT_FORCE forces hid-input to allocate the inputs, and everything should be ok. 2013-04-19	HID: appleir: add support for Apple ir devices	Benjamin Tissoires	1	-0/+352
	This driver was originally written by James McKenzie, updated by Greg Kroah-Hartman, further updated by Bastien Nocera, with suspend support added. I ported it to the HID subsystem, in order to simplify it a litle and allow lirc to use it through hiddev. More recent versions of the IR receiver are also supported through a patch by Alex Karpenko. The patch also adds support for the 2nd and 5th generation of the controller, and the menu key on newer brushed metal remotes.
