2015-02-03drm: Kconfig: Let all DRM_GEM_CMA_HELPER related macros depend on HAVE_DMA_ATTRSChen Gang S1-1/+1
DRM_GEM_CMA_HELPER is depend on HAVE_DMA_ATTRS, or it will break the building. The related error (with allmodconfig under xtensa): CC [M] drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.o drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c: In function 'drm_gem_cma_create': drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c:110:19: error: implicit declaration of function 'dma_alloc_writecombine' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] cma_obj->vaddr = dma_alloc_writecombine(drm->dev, size, ^ drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c:110:17: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast [-Wint-conversion] cma_obj->vaddr = dma_alloc_writecombine(drm->dev, size, ^ drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c: In function 'drm_gem_cma_free_object': drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c:193:3: error: implicit declaration of function 'dma_free_writecombine' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] dma_free_writecombine(gem_obj->dev->dev, cma_obj->base.size, ^ drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c: In function 'drm_gem_cma_mmap_obj': drivers/gpu/drm/drm_gem_cma_helper.c:330:8: error: implicit declaration of function 'dma_mmap_writecombine' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] ret = dma_mmap_writecombine(cma_obj->base.dev->dev, vma, ^ Signed-off-by: Chen Gang <gang.chen.5i5j@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <airlied@redhat.com>
2015-01-31drm: sti: add panel dependencyArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
The newly added sti driver requires the drm_panel helpers, and we get a link error if they are not enabled ERROR: "drm_panel_attach" [drivers/gpu/drm/sti/stidvo.ko] undefined! ERROR: "of_drm_find_panel" [drivers/gpu/drm/sti/stidvo.ko] undefined! This adds a 'select' statement as we have for the other drivers. 2014-12-11drm: sti: add HQVDP planeBenjamin Gaignard1-0/+1
High Quality Video Data Plane is hardware IP dedicated to video rendering. Compare to GPD (graphic planes) it have better scaler capabilities. HQVDP use VID layer to push data into hardware compositor without going into DDR. From data flow point of view HQVDP and VID are nested so HQVPD update/disable VID. 2014-08-26drm: sti: Add missing dependency on RESET_CONTROLLERJingoo Han1-0/+1
Add missing dependency on RESET_CONTROLLER in order to fix the following build error. drivers/gpu/drm/sti/sti_hdmi.c: In function 'sti_hdmi_probe' drivers/gpu/drm/sti/sti_hdmi.c:780:2: error: implicit declaration of function 'devm_reset_control_get' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration] Benjamin Gaignard remark: I have change "depends on" to "select" but keep the original author name. 2014-07-31drm: sti: Add DRM driver itselfBenjamin Gaignard1-0/+8
Make the link between all the hardware drivers and DRM/KMS interface. Create the driver itself and make it register all the sub-components. Use GEM CMA helpers for buffer allocation. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Rob Clark <robdclark@gmail.com>
2014-07-30drm: sti: add CompositorBenjamin Gaignard1-0/+1
Compositor control all the input sub-device (VID, GDP) and the mixer(s). It is the main entry point for composition. Layer interface is used to control the abstracted layers. Add debug in mixer and GDP. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Rob Clark <robdclark@gmail.com>
2014-07-30drm: sti: add VTG driverBenjamin Gaignard1-0/+5
Video Time Generator drivers are used to synchronize the compositor and tvout hardware IPs by providing line count, sample count, synchronization signals (HSYNC, VSYNC) and top and bottom fields indication. VTG are used by pair for each data path (main or auxiliary) one for master and one for slave.
