2013-04-20drm/exynos: prepare FIMD clocksVikas Sajjan1-2/+12
While migrating to common clock framework (CCF), I found that the FIMD clocks were pulled down by the CCF. If CCF finds any clock(s) which has NOT been claimed by any of the drivers, then such clock(s) are PULLed low by CCF. Calling clk_prepare() for FIMD clocks fixes the issue. This patch also replaces clk_disable() with clk_unprepare() during exit, since clk_prepare() is called in fimd_probe(). 2013-04-16drm/exynos: change the method for getting the interruptVikas Sajjan1-1/+1
Replaces the "platform_get_resource() for IORESOURCE_IRQ" with platform_get_resource_byname(). Both in exynos4 and exynos5, FIMD IP has 3 interrupts in the order: "fifo", "vsync", and "lcd_sys". But The FIMD driver expects the "vsync" interrupt to be mentioned as the 1st parameter in the FIMD DT node. So to meet this expectation of the driver, the FIMD DT node was forced to be made by keeping "vsync" as the 1st paramter. For example in exynos4, the FIMD DT node has interrupt numbers mentioned as <11, 1> <11, 0> <11, 2> keeping "vsync" as the 1st paramter. This patch fixes the above mentioned "hack" of re-ordering of the FIMD interrupt numbers by getting interrupt resource of FIMD by using platform_get_resource_byname(). 2013-04-16drm/exynos: hdmi: move mode_fixup to drm common hdmiRahul Sharma3-54/+36
Currently, mode_fixup code doesn't consider the limitations of mixer as it is implemented inside the hdmi driver. Following fix, moves the mode_fixup to common drm hdmi driver. 2013-04-16drm/exynos: hdmi: using drm_display_mode timings for exynos4Rahul Sharma2-417/+246
Exynos5 is already using drm_display_mode for timings parameters. Exynos4 is also modifed to use the same. List of supported resolutions and corresponding timings are removed which helps is enabling some extra resolutions. It also cleans some of the duplicate code. Exynos4 and Exynos5 Mixers, work fine for the same range of resolutions. Hence same condition (to find the supported mode) is applied to both. This patch checks command list from user for g2d restrictions. For now, g2d driver wasn't considered for G2D hardware restrictions properly. The below is the restrictions to G2D hardware and this patch considers them. - width or height value in the command list has to be in valid range (1 to 8000 pixels) - The requested area should be less than buffer size. - right has to be bigger than left. - bottom has to be bigger than top. 2013-03-20drm/exynos: Fix G2D core malfunctioning issueYoungJun Cho1-5/+15
This patch fixes G2D core malfunctioning issue once g2d dma is started. Without 'DMA_HOLD_CMD_REG' register setting, there is only one interrupt after the execution to all command lists have been completed. And that induces watchdog. So this patch sets 'LIST_HOLD' command to the register so that command execution interrupt can be occured whenever each command list execution is finished. 2013-02-21drm/exynos: add display-mode-check operation to exynos_mixer_ops structRahul Sharma3-8/+22
This patch adds the display mode check operation to exynos_mixer_ops in drm-common-hdmi. In Exynos SoCs, mixer IP can put certain restrictions on the proposed display modes. These restriction needs to be considered during mode negotiation, which happens immediately after edid parsing. Both, mixer check-mode and hdmi check-timing callbacks are called one after another and ANDed result is returned back. 2013-02-21drm/exynos: fix wrong pointer access at vm close.YoungJun Cho1-12/+21
This patch fixes wrong pointer access issue to filp->f_op and filp->private_data. The exynos_drm_gem_mmap_ioctl() changes filp->f_op and filp->private_data temporarily and restore them to use original ones in exynos_drm_gem_mmap_buffer() but there was no lock between the changing and the restoring so wrong pointer access to filp->f_op and filp->private_data was induced by vm close callback. So this patch uses mutex lock properly to resolve this issue. 2013-01-25drm/exynos: fimd and ipp are broken on multiplatformArnd Bergmann1-2/+2
While the exynos DRM support in principle can work on multiplatform, the FIMD and IPP sections of it both include the plat/map-base.h header file, which is not available on multiplatform. Rather than disabling the entire driver, we can just conditionally build these two parts. Patch 9eb3e9e6f3 "drm/exynos: add support for ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM" allowed building the exynos hdmi driver on non-samsung platforms, which unfortunately broke compilation in combination with 22c4f42897 "drm: exynos: hdmi: add support for exynos5 hdmi", which added an inclusion of the samsung-specific plat/gpio-cfg.h header file. 2013-01-25drm/exynos: consider DMA_NONE flag to dmabuf importInki Dae1-14/+11
This patch considers DMA_NONE flag for other drivers not using dma mapping framework with iommu such as 3d gpu driver or others. For example, there might be 3d gpu driver that has its own iommu hw unit and iommu table mapping mechnism. So in this case, the dmabuf buffer imported into this driver needs just only sg table to map the buffer with its own iommu table itself. So this patch makes dma_buf_map_attachment ignore dma_map_sg call and just return sg table containing pages if dma_data_direction is DMA_NONE.
