2016-12-01drm: Make the connector .detect() callback optionalLaurent Pinchart1-7/+0
Many drivers (21 to be exact) create connectors that are always connected (for instance to an LVDS or DSI panel). Instead of forcing them to implement a dummy .detect() handler, make the callback optional and consider the connector as always connected in that case. 2016-06-10drm/bridge: ptn3460: Rely on the default ->best_encoder() behaviorBoris Brezillon1-8/+0
We have a 1:1 relationship between connectors and encoders, and the driver is relying on the atomic helpers: we can drop the custom ->best_encoder(), and let the core call drm_atomic_helper_best_encoder() for us. 2015-10-30drm/bridge: ptn3460: Fix coccinelle warningskbuild test robot1-1/+0
The platform_no_drv_owner.cocci coccinelle script generates the following warning: drivers/gpu/drm/bridge/nxp-ptn3460.c:403:3-8: No need to set .owner here. The core will do it. Remove .owner field if calls are used which set it automatically. Patch generated by scripts/coccinelle/api/platform_no_drv_owner.cocci.
