The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/driver-core
Pull driver core updates from Greg KH:
"Here is the large set of driver core changes for 6.3-rc1.
There's a lot of changes this development cycle, most of the work
falls into two different categories:
- fw_devlink fixes and updates. This has gone through numerous review
cycles and lots of review and testing by lots of different devices.
Hopefully all should be good now, and Saravana will be keeping a
watch for any potential regression on odd embedded systems.
- driver core changes to work to make struct bus_type able to be
moved into read-only memory (i.e. const) The recent work with Rust
has pointed out a number of areas in the driver core where we are
passing around and working with structures that really do not have
to be dynamic at all, and they should be able to be read-only
making things safer overall. This is the contuation of that work
(started last release with kobject changes) in moving struct
bus_type to be constant. We didn't quite make it for this release,
but the remaining patches will be finished up for the release after
this one, but the groundwork has been laid for this effort.
Other than that we have in here:
- debugfs memory leak fixes in some subsystems
- error path cleanups and fixes for some never-able-to-be-hit
codepaths.
- cacheinfo rework and fixes
- Other tiny fixes, full details are in the shortlog
All of these have been in linux-next for a while with no reported
problems"

that there's a pending report that has a fix that is queued up - Linus ]

of_device_uevent_modalias() does not modify the device pointer passed to
it, so mark it constant. In order to properly do this, a number of
busses need to have a modalias function added as they were attempting to
just point to of_device_uevent_modalias instead of their bus-specific
modalias function. This is fine except if the prototype for a bus and
device type modalias function diverges and then problems could happen. To
prevent all of that, just wrap the call to of_device_uevent_modalias()
directly for each bus and device type individually.

Function sunxi_rsb_hw_exit() is sometimes called with pm runtime
disabled, so in such cases pm_runtime_resume() will fail with -EACCES.
Instead of doing whole dance of enabling pm runtime and thus clock just
to disable it again immediately, just check if disabling clock is
needed. That way calling pm_runtime_resume() is not needed at all.

The driver core ignores the return value of this callback because there
is only little it can do when a device disappears.
This is the final bit of a long lasting cleanup quest where several
buses were converted to also return void from their remove callback.
Additionally some resource leaks were fixed that were caused by drivers
returning an error code in the expectation that the driver won't go
away.
With struct bus_type::remove returning void it's prevented that newly
implemented buses return an ignored error code and so don't anticipate
wrong expectations for driver authors.

The driver core ignores the return value of struct device_driver::remove
because there is only little that can be done. To simplify the quest to
make this function return void, let struct sunxi_rsb_driver::remove
return void, too. All users already unconditionally return 0, this
commit makes this obvious and ensures future users don't behave
differently. To simplify even further, make axp20x_device_remove()

Since system firmware is likely to use the RSB bus to communicate with a
PMIC while the system is suspended, we cannot make any assumptions about
the controller state after resuming. Thus it is important to completely
reinitialize the controller.
The RSB bus needs to be ready as soon as IRQs are enabled, to handle
wakeup event IRQs coming from the PMIC. Thus it uses NOIRQ callbacks.

This separates the resource acquisition from the hardware initialization
phase, so the hardware initialization can be repeated after system
suspend/resume. The same is done for the exit/remove function, except
that there is no resource deallocation phase due to the use of devres.

When doing a 16-bit read that returns data in the MSB byte, the
RSB_DATA register will keep the MSB byte unchanged when doing
the following 8-bit read. sunxi_rsb_read() will then return
a result that contains high byte from 16-bit read mixed with
the 8-bit result.
The consequence is that after this happens the PMIC's regmap will
look like this: (0x33 is the high byte from the 16-bit read)
% cat /sys/kernel/debug/regmap/sunxi-rsb-3a3/registers
00: 33

Fix this by masking the result of the read with the correct mask
based on the size of the read. There are no 16-bit users in the
mainline kernel, so this doesn't need to get into the stable tree.
