2008-11-30Bluetooth: Remove deprecated hci_usb driverMarcel Holtmann1-20/+0
The old hci_usb driver has been fully replaced with the new btusb driver and all major distributions switched to the new driver now. This removes it since it should not be used at all anymore. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2008-08-18[Bluetooth] Add SCO support to btusb driverMarcel Holtmann1-6/+4
The new generic driver for Bluetooth USB devices was missing proper SCO support. The driver now claims the second interface for these USB devices to allow the flow of SCO packets. It also handles switching of the alternate setting and re-submission of isochronous URBs. The btusb driver is now a full replacement for hci_usb and thus the experimental tag has been removed and this driver is promoted as preferred one. 2008-06-10bluetooth: hci_bcsp.c small cleanups/api usersHarvey Harrison1-0/+1
Use bitrev16 from lib/bitrev.c. Use the get_unaligned_be16 to get the crc from the packet, create a small helper function for this. 2007-10-22[Bluetooth] Add generic driver for Bluetooth USB devicesMarcel Holtmann1-0/+13
This patch adds a new generic driver for Bluetooth USB devices. This driver is still experimental at this point, but it is cleaner and easier to maintain than the current Bluetooth USB driver. It is a much better starting point for power management improvements. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2007-10-22[Bluetooth] Add generic driver for Bluetooth SDIO devicesMarcel Holtmann1-0/+11
This patch adds a generic driver for Bluetooth SDIO devices. It supports Type-A and Type-B devices. Signed-off-by: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@csr.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2007-10-22[Bluetooth] Add UART driver for Texas Instruments' BRF63xx chipsOhad Ben-Cohen1-0/+11
Add support for Texas Instruments' HCI Low Level (HCILL) Bluetooth protocol, which is a power management extension to H4. The HCILL is widely used by TI's BRF63xx Bluetooth chips. Signed-off-by: Ohad Ben-Cohen <ohad@bencohen.org> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2005-10-28[Bluetooth] Remove TXCRC compile option for BCSP driverMarcel Holtmann1-8/+0
The TXCRC compile option is not really useful and thus change it into a module parameter. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
