2019-05-30treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 152Thomas Gleixner1-5/+1
Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this program is free software you can redistribute it and or modify it under the terms of the gnu general public license as published by the free software foundation either version 2 of the license or at your option any later version extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-or-later has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 3029 file(s). 2016-05-09MIPS: Fix watchpoint restorationJames Hogan1-1/+1
Commit f51246efee2b ("MIPS: Get rid of finish_arch_switch().") moved the __restore_watch() call from finish_arch_switch() (i.e. after resume() returns) to before the resume() call in switch_to(). This results in watchpoints only being restored when a task is descheduled, preventing the watchpoints from being effective most of the time, except due to chance before the watchpoints are lazily removed. Fix the call sequence from switch_to() through to mips_install_watch_registers() to pass the task_struct pointer of the next task, instead of using current. This allows the watchpoints for the next (non-current) task to be restored without reintroducing finish_arch_switch(). Fixes: f51246efee2b ("MIPS: Get rid of finish_arch_switch().") 2014-05-02MIPS: PM: Implement PM helper macrosJames Hogan1-0/+4
Implement assembler helper macros in asm/pm.h for platform code to use for saving context across low power states - for example suspend to RAM or powered down cpuidle states. Macros are provided for saving and restoring the main CPU context used by C code and doing important configuration which must be done very early during resume. Notably EVA needs segmentation control registers to be restored before the stack or dynamically allocated memory is accessed, so that state is saved in global data. 2014-04-24MIPS: PM: Add CPU PM callbacks for general CPU contextJames Hogan1-0/+95
Add a CPU power management notifier callback for preserving general CPU context. The CPU PM callbacks will be triggered by the powering down of CPU cores, for example by cpuidle drivers & in the future by suspend to RAM implementations. The current state preserved is mostly related to the process context: - FPU - DSP - ASID - UserLocal - Watch registers Signed-off-by: James Hogan <james.hogan@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Burton <paul.burton@imgtec.com>
