2015-09-03MIPS: cevt-gt641xx: Migrate to new 'set-state' interfaceViresh Kumar1-18/+39
Migrate cevt-gt641xx driver to the new 'set-state' interface provided by clockevents core, the earlier 'set-mode' interface is marked obsolete now. This also enables us to implement callbacks for new states of clockevent devices, for example: ONESHOT_STOPPED. 2013-02-01MIPS: Whitespace cleanup.Ralf Baechle1-2/+2
Having received another series of whitespace patches I decided to do this once and for all rather than dealing with this kind of patches trickling in forever. Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2011-12-08MIPS: irq: Remove IRQF_DISABLEDYong Zhang1-1/+1
Since commit [e58aa3d2: genirq: Run irq handlers with interrupts disabled], We run all interrupt handlers with interrupts disabled and we even check and yell when an interrupt handler returns with interrupts enabled (see commit [b738a50a: genirq: Warn when handler enables interrupts]). So now this flag is a NOOP and can be removed. 2010-10-07MIPS: Add missing #inclusions of <linux/irq.h>David Howells1-0/+1
Add missing #inclusions of <linux/irq.h> to a whole bunch of files that should really include it. Note that this can replace #inclusions of <asm/irq.h>. This is required for the patch to sort out irqflags handling function naming to compile on MIPS. The problem is that these files require access to things like setup_irq() - which isn't available by #including <linux/interrupt.h> Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Acked-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>

2009-11-02MIPS: Add IRQF_TIMER flag for timer interruptsWu Zhangjin1-1/+1
Along the lines of d6c585a4342a2ff627a29f9aea77c5ed4cd76023, add IRQF_TIMER flag for all timer interrupts This ensures that timer interrupts won't be disabled on suspend and not threaded for PREEMPT_RT. 2008-12-13cpumask: convert struct clock_event_device to cpumask pointers.Rusty Russell1-1/+1
Impact: change calling convention of existing clock_event APIs struct clock_event_timer's cpumask field gets changed to take pointer, as does the ->broadcast function. Another single-patch change. For safety, we BUG_ON() in clockevents_register_device() if it's not set. Signed-off-by: Rusty Russell <rusty@rustcorp.com.au> Cc: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu>

2007-10-29[MIPS] time: set clock before clockevent_delta2ns() in GT641xx.Yoichi Yuasa1-1/+1
clockevent_delta2ns() use the shift and mult value, so clockevent_set_clock() should be called first. Pointed out by Atsushi Nemoto. Signed-off-by: Yoichi Yuasa <yoichi_yuasa@tripeaks.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
2007-10-29[MIPS] time: Use non-interrupt locks in GT641xx clockevent driverYoichi Yuasa1-6/+4
set_next_event() and set_mode() are always called with interrupt disabled. irqsave and irqrestore are not necessary for spinlock. Pointed out by Atsushi Nemoto. Signed-off-by: Yoichi Yuasa <yoichi_yuasa@tripeaks.co.jp> Signed-off-by: Ralf Baechle <ralf@linux-mips.org>
