Now that no driver any longer depends on the CONFIG_SOC_AU1??? symbols, it's time to get rid of them: Move some of the platform devices to the boards which can use them, Rename a few (unused) constants in the header, Replace them with MIPS_ALCHEMY in the various Kconfig files. Finally delete them altogether from the Alchemy Kconfig file. au1xxx-ide uses defines from the pb1200/db1200 headers: get DBDMA ID through platform resource information, hardcode register spacing. The only 2 users of this driver (and the only boards it can really work on realiably) use the same register layout. 2011-07-27ASoC: au1x: remove automatic DMA device registration from PSC driversManuel Lauss1-0/+6
The PSC audio drivers (psc-ac97/psc-i2s) register the DMA platform_device on their own. This is frowned upon, from now on board code must register a simple pcm dma platform device for each PSC with sound duties. This patch fixes up the au1x audio platform after the multi-component merge: - compile fixes and updates to get DB1200 platform audio working again, - removal of global variables in AC97/I2S/DMA(PCM) modules. The AC97 part is limited to one instance only for now due to issues with getting at driver data in the soc_ac97_ops. 2010-02-27MIPS: Alchemy: use 36bit addresses for PCMCIA resources.Manuel Lauss1-12/+12
On Alchemy the PCMCIA area lies at the end of the chips 36bit system bus area. Currently, addresses at the far end of the 32bit area are assumed to belong to the PCMCIA area and fixed up to the real 36bit address before being passed to ioremap(). A previous commit enabled 64 bit physical size for the resource datatype on Alchemy and this allows to use the correct 36bit addresses when registering the PCMCIA sockets. This patch removes the 32-to-36bit address fixup and registers the Alchemy demo board pcmcia socket with the correct 36bit physical addresses. Tested on DB1200, with a CF card (ide-cs driver) and a 3c589 PCMCIA ethernet card.
