After introducing pxa930/pxa935 and new silicons, original cpuid rules of XScale generation 3 can't fit new silicons. Now redefine the rule of PXA3xx. Only PXA300/PXA310/PXA320/PXA930/PXA935 are family members of PXA3xx. PXA930/PXA935 are family members of PXA93x. PXA93x can be considered as PXA3xx + CP. 2010-12-16ARM: pxa: Access SMEMC via virtual addressesMarek Vasut2-55/+74
This is important because on PXA3xx, the physical mapping of SMEMC registers differs from the one on PXA2xx. In order to get PCMCIA working on both PXA2xx and PXA320, the PCMCIA driver was adjusted accordingly as well. Also, various places in the kernel had to be patched to use __raw_read/__raw_write. The PXA-SPI driver relies on some files / defines which are arm specific and are within the ARM tree. The CE4100 SoC which is x86 has also the SPI core. This patch moves the ssp and spi files from arm/mach-pxa and plat-pxa to include/linux where the CE4100 can access them. 2010-10-20arm: return both physical and virtual addresses from addruartJeremy Kerr1-6/+4
Rather than checking the MMU status in every instance of addruart, do it once in kernel/debug.S, and change the existing addruart macros to return both physical and virtual addresses. The main debug code can then select the appropriate address to use. This will also allow us to retreive the address of a uart for the MMU state that we're not current in. 2010-10-08ARM: pxa: add U2D controller and ULPI driver for pxa3xxIgor Grinberg1-0/+35
USB2.0 Device Controller (U2DC) which is found in Marvell PXA3xx. U2DC supports both High and Full speed modes. PXA320 and PXA300 U2DC supports only UTMI interface. PXA310 U2DC supports only ULPI interface and has the OTG capability. U2D Controller ULPI driver introduced in this patch supports only the PXA310 USB Host via the ULPI. 2010-09-23arm: fix "arm: fix pci_set_consistent_dma_mask for dmabounce devices"FUJITA Tomonori2-1/+3
This fixes the regression caused by the commit 6fee48cd330c68 ("dma-mapping: arm: use generic pci_set_dma_mask and pci_set_consistent_dma_mask"). ARM needs to clip the dma coherent mask for dmabounce devices. This restores the old trick. Note that strictly speaking, the DMA API doesn't allow architectures to do such but I'm not sure it's worth adding the new API to set the dma mask that allows architectures to clip it. According to PXA3xx Processor Family Developer Manuall Vol1. section "Pin Descriptions and Control", PXA30x and PXA31x Processor Alternate Function Table shows the Alt FN 0 for GPIO51 is CI_HSYNC and for GPIO52 is CI_VSYNC. This huge patch mostly shuffles code. The spitz.c file contained terrible mess and needed a cleanup, here it is: 1) Made every part modular, components are not built in if not selected. 2) Removed loads of preprocessor goo, mostly "#ifdef MACH_AKITA .... #endif" and similar code. 2010-05-11[ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao1-1/+1
delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result. This patch adds support for the on-board IDE channel. I tested this with a CDROM connected over 2.5-3.5 IDE reduction with external power supplied to the CDROM. This was not tested with the Voipac 270-HDD-000 (official Voipac HDD module), but I expect no problems. 2010-05-11[ARM] pxa: correct SSCR0_SCR to support multiple SoCsEric Miao1-8/+1
The previous definitions of SSCR0_SCR and SSCR0_SerClkDiv() prevented them being used simultaneously when supporting multiple PXA SoCs, esp. in drivers/spi/pxa2xx_spi.c, make them correct. The change from SSCR0_SerClkDiv(2) to SSCR0_SCR(2), will make the result a little bit different in pxa2xx_spi_probe(), however, since that's only used as a default initialization value, it's acceptable.
