2012-02-16arch/arm/mach-mmp/: some files include some headers twiceDanny Kukawka1-1/+0
arch/arm/mach-mmp/: some files include some headers twice: - arch/arm/mach-mmp/aspenite.c and arch/arm/mach-mmp/tavorevb.c: 'linux/gpio.h' - arch/arm/mach-mmp/pxa168.c: 'linux/platform_device.h' Remove the duplicates. Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-mxs/include/mach/common.h Pull in previous samsung conflict merges and do a trivial merge of an mxs double-add conflict. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2012-01-05ARM: restart: mmp: use new restart hookRussell King1-0/+5
Hook the Shark restart code into the new restart hook rather than using arch_reset(). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-11-15ARM: pxa: add clk support in gpio driverHaojian Zhuang1-9/+2
Support clk in gpio driver. There's no gpio clock in PXA25x and PXA27x. So use dummy clk instead. And move the gpio edge initialization into gpio driver for arch-mmp. Signed-off-by: Haojian Zhuang <haojian.zhuang@marvell.com>
2011-11-15ARM: pxa: change gpio to platform deviceHaojian Zhuang1-9/+20

The original pair of <0x01db, 208000000> is invalid. Correct it to the valid value. The 6th bit of the NFC APMU register indicates NFC works whether at 156Mhz or 78Mhz. So 0x19b indicates NFC works at 156Mhz, and 0x1db indicates it works at 78Mhz. Signed-off-by: Lei Wen <leiwen@marvell.com> Cc: stable@kernel.org Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.y.miao@gmail.com>

2010-02-12ARM: Consolidate clks_register() and similarRussell King1-1/+1
Most machine classes want some way to register a block of clk_lookup structures, and most do it by implementing a clks_register() type function which walks an array, or by open-coding a loop. Consolidate all this into clkdev_add_table(). 2009-03-23[ARM] pxa: add base support for Marvell's PXA168 processor lineEric Miao1-0/+77
"""The Marvell® PXA168 processor is the first in a family of application processors targeted at mass market opportunities in computing and consumer devices. It balances high computing and multimedia performance with low power consumption to support extended battery life, and includes a wealth of integrated peripherals to reduce overall BOM cost .... """ See http://www.marvell.com/featured/pxa168.jsp for more information. 1. Marvell Mohawk core is a hybrid of xscale3 and its own ARM core, there are many enhancements like instructions for flushing the whole D-cache, and so on 2. Clock reuses Russell's common clkdev, and added the basic support for UART1/2. 3. Devices are a bit different from the 'mach-pxa' way, the platform devices are now dynamically allocated only when necessary (i.e. when pxa_register_device() is called). Description for each device are stored in an array of 'struct pxa_device_desc'. Now that: a. this array of device description is marked with __initdata and can be freed up system is fully up b. which means board code has to add all needed devices early in his initializing function c. platform specific data can now be marked as __initdata since they are allocated and copied by platform_device_add_data() 4. only the basic UART1/2/3 are added, more devices will come later.
