2022-10-10ARM: mmp: Make some symbols staticChen Lifu1-4/+4
These symbols pxa168_usb_phy_resources, pxa168_u2o_resources, pxa168_u2oehci_resources and pxa168_u2ootg_resources are not used outside of arch/arm/mach-mmp/devices.c, so mark them static. Fixes the following sparse warning: arch/arm/mach-mmp/devices.c:241:17: warning: symbol 'pxa168_usb_phy_resources' was not declared. Should it be static? arch/arm/mach-mmp/devices.c:262:17: warning: symbol 'pxa168_u2o_resources' was not declared. Should it be static? arch/arm/mach-mmp/devices.c:297:17: warning: symbol 'pxa168_u2oehci_resources' was not declared. Should it be static? arch/arm/mach-mmp/devices.c:324:17: warning: symbol 'pxa168_u2ootg_resources' was not declared. Should it be static? 2022-05-07ARM: mmp: rename pxa_register_deviceArnd Bergmann1-1/+1
In a multiplatform kernel that includes both pxa and mmp, we get a link failure from the clash of two pxa_register_device functions. Rename the one in mach-mmp to mmp_register_device, along with with the rename of pxa_device_desc. Acked-by: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak@v3.sk> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2019-10-17ARM: mmp: move cputype.h to include/linux/soc/Lubomir Rintel1-1/+1
Let's move cputype.h away from mach-mmp/ so that the drivers outside that directory are able to tell the precise silicon revision. The MMP3 USB OTG PHY driver needs this. Signed-off-by: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak@v3.sk>

2018-12-01ARM: mmp: add a pxa-usb-phy deviceLubomir Rintel1-0/+21
This is to replace the USB PHY initialization code (pxa_usb_phy_init(), pxa_usb_phy_deinit()) with a proper PHY driver. Signed-off-by: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak@v3.sk> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>

2017-07-27ARM: mmp: mark usb_dma_mask as __maybe_unusedArnd Bergmann1-1/+1
This variable may be used by some devices that each have their on Kconfig symbol, or by none of them, and that causes a build warning: arch/arm/mach-mmp/devices.c:241:12: error: 'usb_dma_mask' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-variable] Marking it __maybe_unused avoids the warning. 2015-12-01ARM: mmp: make all header files localArnd Bergmann1-4/+4
The mach/*.h headers are now inaccessible to any external code, so we can move them all into the mach-mmp directory itself and remove the subdirectories. A few headers are not used at all, so we remove them here. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2014-03-18ARM: mmp: allow platform devices with modular USBArnd Bergmann1-7/+7
The USB host drivers need platform data to be defined on pxa168 and pxa910, but the conditionals used in the devices.c file only work if the drivers are built-in. This patch fixes the definition by changing the #ifdef to #if IS_ENABLED(), which works both for built-in and modular Kconfig symbols. I found one specific problem using 'randconfig' builds, but for consistency, this patch uses IS_ENABLED() for all Kconfig symbols in these three files. 2009-03-23[ARM] pxa: add base support for Marvell's PXA168 processor lineEric Miao1-0/+69
"""The MarvellĀ® PXA168 processor is the first in a family of application processors targeted at mass market opportunities in computing and consumer devices. It balances high computing and multimedia performance with low power consumption to support extended battery life, and includes a wealth of integrated peripherals to reduce overall BOM cost .... """ See http://www.marvell.com/featured/pxa168.jsp for more information. 1. Marvell Mohawk core is a hybrid of xscale3 and its own ARM core, there are many enhancements like instructions for flushing the whole D-cache, and so on 2. Clock reuses Russell's common clkdev, and added the basic support for UART1/2. 3. Devices are a bit different from the 'mach-pxa' way, the platform devices are now dynamically allocated only when necessary (i.e. when pxa_register_device() is called). Description for each device are stored in an array of 'struct pxa_device_desc'. Now that: a. this array of device description is marked with __initdata and can be freed up system is fully up b. which means board code has to add all needed devices early in his initializing function c. platform specific data can now be marked as __initdata since they are allocated and copied by platform_device_add_data() 4. only the basic UART1/2/3 are added, more devices will come later.
