2017-10-29ARM: meson: enable MESON_IRQ_GPIO in Kconfig for meson8bJerome Brunet1-0/+1
select MESON_IRQ_GPIO in Kconfig for Amlogic's meson8b SoC Signed-off-by: Jerome Brunet <jbrunet@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com>
2017-10-29ARM: meson: Add SMP bringup code for Meson8 and Meson8bMartin Blumenstingl1-0/+1
This adds the necessary SMP-operations and startup code to use the additional cores on the Amlogic Meson8/Meson8m2 (both are using the same sequence) and Meson8b (using a slightly difference sequence) SoCs. Signed-off-by: Carlo Caione <carlo@endlessm.com> [add Meson8/Meson8m2 support and allow taking CPU cores offline as well] Signed-off-by: Martin Blumenstingl <martin.blumenstingl@googlemail.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com>
2017-06-09arm: meson: select the clock controller for Meson8Martin Blumenstingl1-0/+1
Select COMMON_CLK_MESON8B also for MACH_MESON8 since the Meson8b clock controller driver can also be used on Meson8 SoCs now that we have a separate compatible for it. Signed-off-by: Martin Blumenstingl <martin.blumenstingl@googlemail.com> Acked-by: Jerome Brunet <jbrunet@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com>
2016-07-07arm: meson: explicitly select clk driversMichael Turquette1-0/+3
The AmLogic clock controller code is used by both arm and arm64 architectures. Explicitly select the core code for all Meson (32-bit arm) builds, and also select the Meson8b driver when that machine is built. 2016-06-03ARM: do away with ARCH_[WANT_OPTIONAL|REQUIRE]_GPIOLIBLinus Walleij1-1/+1
This replaces: - "select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB" as this can now be selected directly. - "select ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB" with no dependency: GPIOLIB is now selectable by everyone, so we need not declare our intent to select it. When ordering the symbols the following rationale was used: if the selects were in alphabetical order, I moved select GPIOLIB to be in alphabetical order, but if the selects were not maintained in alphabetical order, I just replaced "select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB". 2015-12-02ARM: use "depends on" for SoC configs instead of "if" after promptMasahiro Yamada1-1/+2
Many ARM sub-architectures use prompts followed by "if" conditional, but it is wrong. Please notice the difference between config ARCH_FOO bool "Foo SoCs" if ARCH_MULTI_V7 and config ARCH_FOO bool "Foo SoCs" depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7 These two are *not* equivalent! In the former statement, it is not ARCH_FOO, but its prompt that depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7. So, it is completely valid that ARCH_FOO is selected by another, but ARCH_MULTI_V7 is still disabled. As it is not unmet dependency, Kconfig never warns. This is probably not what you want. The former should be used only when you need to do so, and you really understand what you are doing. (In most cases, it should be wrong!) For enabling/disabling sub-architectures, the latter is always correct. As a good side effect, this commit fixes some entries over 80 columns (mach-imx, mach-integrator, mach-mbevu).
