2012-01-30ARM: highbank: select SPARSE_IRQ and remove irqs.hRob Herring1-1/+0
irqs.h is optional now for SPARSE_IRQ, so select it and remove mach/irqs.h from highbank. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com>
2012-01-23ARM: 7293/1: logical_cpu_map: decouple CPU mapping from SMPWill Deacon1-2/+1
It turns out that the logical CPU mapping is useful even when !CONFIG_SMP for manipulation of devices like interrupt and power controllers when running a UP kernel on a CPU other than 0. This can happen when kexecing a UP image from an SMP kernel. In the future, multi-cluster systems running AMP configurations will require something similar for mapping cluster IDs, so it makes sense to decouple this logic in preparation for this support. 2012-01-16ARM: highbank: remove incorrect BSYM usageRob Herring1-2/+1
BSYM macro is only needed for assembly files and its usage in c files is wrong, so remove it. The linker will correctly set bit 0 for Thumb2 kernels. Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Acked-by: Dave Martin <dave.martin@linaro.org>
2012-01-05Merge branch 'restart' into for-linusRussell King1-0/+1
Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-exynos/cpu.c The changes to arch/arm/mach-exynos/cpu.c were moved to mach-exynos/common.c.
2012-01-05ARM: restart: highbank: use new restart hookRussell King1-0/+1
Hook these platforms restart code into the new restart hook rather than using arch_reset(). Acked-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2011-11-16ARM: highbank: convert logical CPU numbers to physical numbersWill Deacon1-0/+4
This patch uses the new cpu_logical_map() macro for converting logical CPU numbers into physical numbers when releasing CPUs during the SMP boot and CPU hotplug paths. Acked-by: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Signed-off-by: Will Deacon <will.deacon@arm.com>
2011-11-15ARM: highbank: convert to CONFIG_MULTI_IRQ_HANDLERMarc Zyngier1-0/+1
Convert the highbank platform to be using the gic_handle_irq function as its primary interrupt handler. Cc: Rob Herring <rob.herring@calxeda.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
