2018-07-23ARM: dts: exynos: Configure Midas SD card CD pinSimon Shields1-1/+6
This pin is externally pulled up, so we need to disable the SoC's internal pull down resistor to allow it to function properly. Signed-off-by: Simon Shields <simon@lineageos.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-07-23ARM: dts: exynos: Configure max77686 IRQ pin on MidasSimon Shields1-0/+7
This pin is externally pulled up, so we need to disable the SoC's internal pull-down. Signed-off-by: Simon Shields <simon@lineageos.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-07-23ARM: dts: exynos: Add pinctrl for Midas fuelgauge IRQ pinSimon Shields1-0/+7
This pin is externally pulled up, so we should disable the SoC's pull down resistor in order for the interrupt to function properly. Signed-off-by: Simon Shields <simon@lineageos.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-07-23ARM: dts: exynos: Add pinctrl config for Midas keysSimon Shields1-0/+7
This pins are externally pulled up, and so we should explicitly configure them to disable the SoC-internal pull-downs. Previously we relied on the bootloader doing this in order to allow the buttons to function properly. Signed-off-by: Simon Shields <simon@lineageos.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-07-23ARM: dts: exynos: Add max77693 pinctrl config for MidasSimon Shields1-0/+7
Currently, we assume that the bootloader has correctly configured the interrupt pin for max77693. This might not actually be the case - so it's better to configure it explicitly. Signed-off-by: Simon Shields <simon@lineageos.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>

2018-06-25arm: dts: exynos: Add missing cooling device properties for CPUsViresh Kumar4-0/+61
The cooling device properties, like "#cooling-cells" and "dynamic-power-coefficient", should either be present for all the CPUs of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a subset of CPUs of a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon as the CPUs are brought online in a different order. For example, this will happen because the operating system looks for such properties in the CPU node it is trying to bring up, so that it can register a cooling device. Add such missing properties. Fix other missing properties (clocks, OPP, clock latency) as well to make it all work. Signed-off-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc Pull ARM SoC device tree updates from Olof Johansson: "As always, a large number of DT updates. Too many to enumerate them all, but at a glance: New SoCs introduced in this release: - Amlogic: + Meson 8M2 SoC, a.k.a. S812. A quad Cortex-A9 SoC used in some set top boxes and other products. - Mediatek: + MT7623A, which is a flavor of the MT7623 family with other on-chip ethernet options. - Qualcomm: + SDM845, a.k.a Snapdragon 845, an 4+4-core Kryo 385/845 (Cortex-A75/A55 derivative) SoC that's one of the current high-end mobile SoCs. It's great to see mainline support for it. So far, you can't do much with it, since a lot of peripherals are not yet in the DTs but driver support for USB, GPU and other pieces are starting to trickle in. This might end up being a well-supported SoC upstream if the momentum keeps up. - Renesas: + R8A77990, a.k.a R-Car E3, a new automotive entertainment-targeted SoC. Currently only one Cortex-A53 CPU is enabled, we are eagerly awaiting more. So far, basic drivers such as serial, gpios, PMU and ethernet are enabled. + R8A77470, a.k.a. RZ/G1C, a new dual Cortex-A7 SoC with PowerVR GPU. Same here, basic set of drivers such as serial, gpios and ethernet enabled, and SMP support is also forthcoming. - STMicroelectronics: + STM32F469, very similar tih STM32F429 but with display support Enhancements to SoCs/platforms (DTS contents, some driver portions might not be in yet): - Allwinner sun8i (h3/a33/a83t) SMP, DVFS tweaks, misc - Amlogic Meson: I2C, UFS, TDM, GPIO external interrupts, MMC resets - Hisilicon hi3660: Thermal cooling, CPU frequency scaling, mailbox interfaces - Marvell Berlin2CD: SMP support, thermal sensors - Mediatek MT7623: Highspeed DMA, audio support - Qualcomm IPQ8074 PCIe support, MSM8996 UFS support - Renesas: Watchdog and PMU support across many platforms - Rockchip RK3399: USB3 OTG support - Samsung Exynos: Audio-over-HDMI on Odroid X/X2/U3 - STMicro STM32: Lots of peripherals added to STM32MP175C - Uniphier: Ethernet support New boards: - Allwinner A20: Olimex A20-SOM-EVB-eMMC variant - Allwinner H2+: Libre Computer ALL-H3-CC (h2+ version) - Allwinner A33: Nintendo NES/SuperNES Classic Edition - Aspeed: S2600WF, Inventec Lanyang BMC, Portwell Neptune - Berlin2CD: Valve Steam Link - Broadcom BCM5301X: Luxul XAP-1610 and XWR-3150 V1 - Broadcom: Raspberry Pi 3 B+ - Mediatek MT7623N and MT7623A: reference boards - Meson 8M2: Tronsmart MXIII Plus - NXP i.MX: Engicam i.CoreM6, DHCOM iMX6 SOM, BTicino i.MX6DL Mamoj - Qualcomm MSM8974: Sony Xperia Z1 Compact support - Qualcomm SDM845: MTP development board - Renesas: Ebisu R8A77990 board - Renesas RZ/G1C: iwg23s: iWave G235-SDB - TI am335x: Pocketbeagle support" * tag 'armsoc-dt' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc: (448 commits) ARM: dts: aspeed: Fix hwrng register address arm64: dts: sprd: whale2: Add the rtc enable clock for watchdog arm64: dts: sprd: Add GPIO and GPIO keys device nodes arm64: dts: sprd: fix typo in 'remote-endpoint' arm64: dts: apq8096-db820c: Removed bt-en-1-8v regulator arm64: dts: fix regulator property name for wlan pcie endpoint arm64: dts: qcom: msm8996: Use UFS_GDSC for UFS ARM: dts: pxa3xx: fix MMC clocks ARM: pxa: dts: add pin definitions for extended GPIOs ARM: pxa: dts: add gpio-ranges to gpio controller ARM: dts: ipq8074: Enable few peripherals for hk01 board ARM: dts: ipq8074: Add pcie nodes ARM: dts: ipq8074: Add peripheral nodes ARM: dts: ipq4019: Add qcom-ipq4019-ap.dk07.1-c2 board file ARM: dts: ipq4019: Add qcom-ipq4019-ap.dk07.1-c1 board file ARM: dts: ipq4019: Add ipq4019-ap.dk07.1 common data ARM: dts: ipq4019: Add qcom-ipq4019-ap.dk04.1-c3 board file ARM: dts: ipq4019: Add ipq4019-ap.dk04.1-c1 board file ARM: dts: ipq4019: Add ipq4019-ap.dk04.dtsi ARM: dts: ipq4019: Change the max opp frequency ...

2018-06-05Merge branch 'irq-core-for-linus' of ↵Linus Torvalds2-0/+11
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip Pull irq updates from Thomas Gleixner: - Consolidation of softirq pending: The softirq mask and its accessors/mutators have many implementations scattered around many architectures. Most do the same things consisting in a field in a per-cpu struct (often irq_cpustat_t) accessed through per-cpu ops. We can provide instead a generic efficient version that most of them can use. In fact s390 is the only exception because the field is stored in lowcore. - Support for level!?! triggered MSI (ARM) Over the past couple of years, we've seen some SoCs coming up with ways of signalling level interrupts using a new flavor of MSIs, where the MSI controller uses two distinct messages: one that raises a virtual line, and one that lowers it. The target MSI controller is in charge of maintaining the state of the line. This allows for a much simplified HW signal routing (no need to have hundreds of discrete lines to signal level interrupts if you already have a memory bus), but results in a departure from the current idea the kernel has of MSIs. - Support for Meson-AXG GPIO irqchip - Large stm32 irqchip rework (suspend/resume, hierarchical domains) - More SPDX conversions * 'irq-core-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip: (36 commits) ARM: dts: stm32: Add exti support to stm32mp157 pinctrl ARM: dts: stm32: Add exti support for stm32mp157c pinctrl/stm32: Add irq_eoi for stm32gpio irqchip irqchip/stm32: Add suspend/resume support for hierarchy domain irqchip/stm32: Add stm32mp1 support with hierarchy domain irqchip/stm32: Prepare common functions irqchip/stm32: Add host and driver data structures irqchip/stm32: Add suspend support irqchip/stm32: Add falling pending register support irqchip/stm32: Checkpatch fix irqchip/stm32: Optimizes and cleans up stm32-exti irq_domain irqchip/meson-gpio: Add support for Meson-AXG SoCs dt-bindings: interrupt-controller: New binding for Meson-AXG SoC dt-bindings: interrupt-controller: Fix the double quotes softirq/s390: Move default mutators of overwritten softirq mask to s390 softirq/x86: Switch to generic local_softirq_pending() implementation softirq/sparc: Switch to generic local_softirq_pending() implementation softirq/powerpc: Switch to generic local_softirq_pending() implementation softirq/parisc: Switch to generic local_softirq_pending() implementation softirq/ia64: Switch to generic local_softirq_pending() implementation ...
