2020-07-13Replace HTTP links with HTTPS ones: OMAP DEVICE TREE SUPPORTAlexander A. Klimov1-1/+1
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2020-07-13ARM: dts: omap5-uevm: Add watchdog timers for IPU and DSPSuman Anna1-0/+2
The watchdog timers have been added for the IPU and DSP remoteproc devices for the OMAP5 uEVM board. The following timers (same as the timers on OMAP4 Panda boards) are used as the watchdog timers, DSP : GPT6 IPU : GPT9 & GPT11 (one for each Cortex-M4 core) The MPU-side drivers will use this data to initialize the watchdog timers, and listen for any watchdog triggers. The BIOS-side code needs to configure and refresh these timers properly to not throw a watchdog error. These timers can be changed or removed as per the system integration needs, alongside appropriate equivalent changes on the firmware side. 2020-07-13ARM: dts: omap5-uevm: Add system timers to DSP and IPUSuman Anna1-0/+2
The BIOS System Tick timers have been added for the IPU and DSP remoteproc devices for the OMAP5 uEVM boards. The following timers (same as the timers on OMAP4 Panda boards) are chosen: IPU : GPT3 (SMP-mode) DSP : GPT5 IPU has two Cortex-M4 processors, and is currently expected to be running in SMP-mode, so only a single timer suffices to provide the BIOS tick timer. An additional timer should be added for the second processor in IPU if it were to be run in non-SMP mode. The timer value also needs to be unique from the ones used by other processors so that they can be run simultaneously. The timers are optional, but are mandatory to support device management features such as power management and watchdog support. The above are added to successfully boot and execute firmware images configured with the respective timers, images that use internal processor subsystem timers are not affected. The timers can be changed or removed as per the system integration needs, alongside equivalent changes on the firmware side. 2020-07-13ARM: dts: omap5-uevm: Add CMA pools and enable IPU & DSPSuman Anna1-0/+30
The CMA reserved memory nodes have been added for the IPU and DSP remoteproc devices on the OMAP5 uEVM board. These nodes are assigned to the respective rproc device nodes, and both the IPU and DSP remote processors are enabled for this board. The current CMA pools and sizes are defined statically for each device. The starting addresses are fixed to meet current dependencies on the remote processor firmwares, and will go away when the remote-side code has been improved to gather this information runtime during its initialization. An associated pair of the rproc node and its CMA node can be disabled later on if there is no use-case defined to use that remote processor. 2017-05-16ARM: dts: OMAP5: uevm: add µSD card detectH. Nikolaus Schaller1-0/+13
If we have Linux installed in eMMC we can boot without µSD card, but inserting one is not recognised. The reason is that the card detect gpio (gpio5_152) is not configured and attached to the mmc1 interface driver and the mmc driver does not poll by default. Hence we add pinmux and gpio setup for the SDCARD_NCD signal. Signed-off-by: H. Nikolaus Schaller <hns@goldelico.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2016-11-17ARM: dts: omap5: replace gpio-key,wakeup with wakeup-source propertySudeep Holla1-1/+1
Though the keyboard driver for GPIO buttons(gpio-keys) will continue to check for/support the legacy "gpio-key,wakeup" boolean property to enable gpio buttons as wakeup source, "wakeup-source" is the new standard binding. 2016-09-14ARM: dts: ARM: dts: Fix omap5 SDIO dat1 interruptTony Lindgren1-0/+4
Few changes to fix issues I've noticed while debugging omap5-uevm wl18xx issues: 1. Move wlcore irq pin muxing under wlcore. This irq could be different from gpio_wk14 on some board variants 2. Don't configure pull on wlcore irq pin. There is a 10k pull up resistor R105 on the device to VDDS_1v8_MAIN 3. The padconf register for wlsdio_data1 is wrong, it's really at 0x1a8 + 2 - 0x40 = 0x16a offset, not at 0x168 as that's for wlsdio_data0 4. Mark the omap5-uevm wlan as compatible with ti,wl1837 as that's what the TDK R078 part seems to be 5. The MMC interrupt for WLAN musb be wakeupgen, not gic Looks like omap5-uevm WLAN behaves better now, but I still seem to have issues with some access points. 2015-10-16ARM: dts: Move most of omap5-uevm.dts to omap5-board-common.dtsiTony Lindgren1-648/+14
Looks like thevarious omap5-uevm models and igepv5 are very similar. So let's create omap5-board-common.dtsi to allow fixing up things properly for mainline kernel to support all these. Even if we eventually end up having only PMIC + MMC + eMMC + SDIO WLAN + SATA + USB + HDMI configuration in the omap5-board-common.dtsi, this is the easiest way to add support for other boards rather than diffing various versions of out of tree dts files. My guess is that also omap5-sbc-t54.dts can use this, but I don't have that board so that will need to be dealt with later on. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2015-10-16ARM: dts: Fix WLAN regression on omap5-uevmTony Lindgren1-11/+55
Commit 99f84cae43df ("ARM: dts: add wl12xx/wl18xx bindings") added device tree bindings for the TI WLAN SDIO on many omap variants. I recall wondering how come omap5-uevm did not have the WLAN added and this issue has been bugging me for a while now, and I finally tracked it down to a bad pinmux regression, and a missing deferred probe handling for the 32k clock from palmas that's requested by twl6040. Basically 392adaf796b9 ("ARM: dts: omap5-evm: Add mcspi data") added pin muxing for mcspi4 that conflicts with the onboard WLAN. While some omap5-uevm don't have WLAN populated, the pins are not reused for other devices. And as the SDIO bus should be probed, let's try to enable WLAN by default. Let's fix the regression and add the WLAN configuration as done for the other boards in 99f84cae43df ("ARM: dts: add wl12xx/wl18xx bindings"). And let's use the new MMC pwrseq for the 32k clock as suggested by Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@dowhile0.org>. Note that without a related deferred probe fix for twl6040, the 32k clock is not initialized if palmas-clk is a module and twl6040 is built-in. Let's also use the generic "non-removable" instead of the legacy "ti,non-removable" property while at it. And finally, note that omap5 seems to require WAKEUP_EN for the WLAN GPIO interrupt. 2015-03-15ARM: omap: convert wakeupgen to stacked domainsMarc Zyngier1-2/+0
OMAP4/5 has been (ab)using the gic_arch_extn to provide wakeup from suspend, and it makes a lot of sense to convert this code to use stacked domains instead. This patch does just this, updating the DT files to actually reflect what the HW provides. BIG FAT WARNING: because the DTs were so far lying by not exposing the WUGEN HW block, kernels with this patch applied won't have any suspend-resume facility when booted with old DTs, and old kernels with updated DTs won't even boot. 2013-07-30ARM: dts: omap5-uevm: update optional/unused regulator configurationsNishanth Menon1-9/+8
commit e00c27ef3b4c23e39d0a77b7c8e5be44c28001c7 (ARM: dts: OMAP5: Add Palmas MFD node and regulator nodes) introduced regulator entries for OMAP5uEVM. However, The regulator information is based on an older temporary pre-production board variant and does not reflect production board 750-2628-XXX boards. The following optional/unused regulators can be updated: - SMPS9 supplies TWL6040 over VDDA_2v1_AUD. This regulator needs to be enabled only when audio is active. Since it does not come active by default, it does not require "always-on" or "boot-on". - LDO2 and LDO8 do not go to any peripheral or connector on the board. Further, these unused regulators should have been 2.8V for LDO2 and 3.0V for LDO8. Mark these LDOs as disabled in the dts until needed. 2013-07-30ARM: dts: omap5-uevm: fix regulator configurations mandatory for SoCNishanth Menon1-20/+23
commit e00c27ef3b4c23e39d0a77b7c8e5be44c28001c7 (ARM: dts: OMAP5: Add Palmas MFD node and regulator nodes) introduced regulator entries for OMAP5uEVM. However, The regulator information is based on an older temporary pre-production board variant and does not reflect production board 750-2628-XXX boards. The following fixes are hence mandatory to ensure right voltage is supplied to key OMAP5 SoC voltage rails: - LDO1 supplies VDDAPHY_CAM which is OMAP5's vdda_csiporta/b/c. This can only be supplied at 1.5V or 1.8V and we currently supply 2.8V. To prevent any potential device damage risk, use the specified 1.5V-1.8V supply. Remove 'always-on' and 'boot-on' settings here as it is a 'on need' supply to SoC IP and is not enabled by PMIC by default at boot. - LDO3 supplies Low Latency Interface(LLI) hardware module which is a special hardware to communicate with Modem. However since uEVM is not setup by default for this communication, this should be disabled by default. Further, vdda_lli is supposed to be 1.5V and not 3V. - LDO4 supplies VDDAPHY_DISP which is vdda_dsiporta/c/vdda_hdmi This can only be supplied at 1.5V or 1.8V and we currently supply 2.2V. To prevent any potential device damage risk, use the specified 1.5V-1.8V supply. Remove 'always-on' and 'boot-on' settings here as it is a 'on need' supply to SoC IP and is not enabled by PMIC by default at boot. - LDO6 supplies the board specified VDDS_1V2_WKUP supply going to ldo_emu_wkup/vdds_hsic. To stay within the SoC specification supply 1.2V instead of 1.5V. - LDO7 supplies VDD_VPP which is vpp1. This is currently configured for 1.5V which as per data manual "A pulse width of 1000 ns and an amplitude of 2V is required to program each eFuse bit. Otherwise, VPP1 must not be supplied". So, fix the voltage to 2V. and disable the supply since we have no plans of programming efuse bits - it can only be done once - in factory. Further it is not enabled by default by PMIC so, 'boot-on' must be removed, and the 'always-on' needs to be removed to achieve pulsing if efuse needs to be programmed. - LDO9 supplies the board specified vdds_sdcard supply going within SoC specification of 1.8V or 3.0V. Further the supply is controlled by switch enabled by REGEN3. So, introduce REGEN3 and map sdcard slot to be powered by LDO9. Remove 'always-on' allowing the LDO to be disabled on need basis. 2013-07-30ARM: dts: omap5-uevm: document regulator signals used on the actual boardNishanth Menon1-0/+18
commit e00c27ef3b4c23e39d0a77b7c8e5be44c28001c7 (ARM: dts: OMAP5: Add Palmas MFD node and regulator nodes) introduced regulator entries for OMAP5uEVM. However, currently we use the Palmas regulator names which is used for different purposes on uEVM. Document the same based on 750-2628-XXX boards - which is meant to be supported by this dts. 2013-06-19ARM: dts: omap5: Make uevm as the official board and deprecate sevm supportSricharan R1-0/+184
The uevm is the only official board supported for the OMAP5 soc in mainline. The existent sevm platform will no more be supported. Hence cleaning up the board dts file to have only the data required for uevm. Renaming the board dts file and adding the following cleanups. * There are no devices connected on I2C 2,3,4 buses. So remove the pinmux data for the same. * OMAP5432 and DDR3 memory is used in the uevm. Temperature polling is not supported with DDR3 memories. Because of DDR3 phy limitation the voltage change across DVFS and all shadow registers for DVFS on DDR3 is not supported. Hence the emif kernel driver is not required, so removing the DDR3 device file and emif nodes for uevm. * Keypad is not supported on uevm. So remove the device node.
