IIO: New device support, features and cleanup for the 6.15 cycle.
The usual mixture of new drivers, support in existing drivers for new
devices, a range of features and general subsystem cleanup.
Two merges of immutable branches in here:
* SPI offload support. Culmination of a long effort to bring the ability
to offload triggered sequences of SPI operations to specific hardware,
allow high datarate acquisition over an SPI bus (if you have the right
hardware / FPGA firmware)
* GPIO set-array-helper - enables code simplification.

Cleanup and minor bug fixes
===========================
Tree wide:
- Stop using iio_device_claim_direct_scoped() and introduce sparse friendly
iio_device_claim/release_direct()
The conditional scoped cleanup has proved hard to deal with, requiring
workarounds for various compiler issues and in is rather non-intuitive
so abandon that experiment. One of the attractions of that approach was
that it made it much harder to have unbalanced claim/release bugs so
instead introduce a conditional-lock style boolean returning new pair
of functions. These are inline in the header and have __acquire and
__release calls allowing sparse to detect lack of balance. There are
occasional false positives but so far those have reflected complex code
paths that benefited from cleanup anyway.
The first set of driver conversions are in this pull request, more to
follow next cycle. Various related cleanup in drivers.
Removal of the _scoped code is completed and the definition removed.
- Use of str_enable_disable() and similar helpers.
- Don't set regmap cache to REGCACHE_NONE as that's the default anyway.
- Change some caches from RBTREE to MAPLE reflecting best practice.
- Use the new gpiod_multi_set_value_cansleep()
- Make sure to grab direct mode for some calibrations paths.
- Avoid using memcmp on structures when checking for matching channel configs.
Instead just match field by field.
dt-bindings:
- Fix up indentation inconsistencies.
gts-helper:
- Simplify building of available scale table.
adi,ad-sigma-delta
- Make sure to disable channel after calibration done.
- Add error handling in configuring channel during calibration.
adi,ad2s1201
- use a bitmap_write() rather than directly accessing underlying storage.
adi,ad3552r-hs
- Fix a wrong error message.
- Make sure to use instruction mode for configuration.
adi,ad4695
- Add a conversion to ensure exit from conversion mode.
- Use custom regmap to handle required sclk rate change.
- Fix an out of bounds array access
- Simplify oversampling ratio handling.
adi,ad4851
- Fix a sign bug.
adi,ad5791
- Fix wrong exported number of storage bits.
adi,ad7124
- Disable all channels at probe to avoid strange initial configurations.
adi,ad7173
- Rework to allow static const struct ad_sigma_delta without need
to make a copy.
adi,ad7623
- Drop a BSD license tag that the authors consider unnecessary.
adi,ad7768-1
- Fix channels sign description exposed to user space.
- Set MOSI idle state to avoid accidental device reset.
- Avoid some overkill locking.
adi,axi-dac
- Check if device interface is busy when enabling data stream.
- Add control of bus mode.
bosch,bmi270
- Move a struct definition to a c file as only used there.
vishay,veml6030
- Enable regmap cache to reduce bus traffic.
- Fix ABI bug around scale reporting.
vishay,vem6075
- Check array bounds to harden against broken hardware.
Various other minor tweaks and fixes not called out.

Merge series from Ryan Walklin <ryan@testtoast.com>:
Hi All,
V3 of this patch adding headphone jack detection support to the Anbernic RGnnXX series of handhelds. V3 corrects my misunderstanding of derivation of ALSA UCM file paths, and adds recieved Reviewed-by and Tested-by tags. Thanks to those that have reviewed and fed back on previous versions.
Original message below:
This series adds the required device tree bindings to describe GPIOs for jack detection in the sun4i-codec driver, adds support for jack detection to the codec machine driver, and describes the hardware configuration in the RG35XX DTS. The existing speaker amplifier GPIO pin can then be used in concert with jack detection to enable userspace sound servers (via an ALSA UCM configuration) to disable the speaker route when headphones are connected.
Thanks to Chris Morgan for his assistance putting this series together.

Add the bindings that describe a GOcontroll Moduline module slot. This
slot provides all the interfaces to interface with a Moduline compatible
IO module. The actual module is not reasonable to describe as it can be
swapped at will, with this connector the driver will be able to probe
for a module on boot.
The connector consists of 2 parts, one part for interfacing with the SoC
and main board, the other part has 13 IO channels for the module to
interact with the outside world. The functions of these IO channels are
determined by the type of module in the slot. The IO on the SoC side is
as follows:
- a 3v3 supply, this tends to be the logic level of the module and its
microcontroller
- a 5v0 supply, this can be used to power low power peripherals on the
module
- a 6v-8v supply, this can be used for high power peripherals on the
module
- a 6v-30v supply, this tends to be a dirty supply that comes from the
controller supply after some circuit protection, or is the same as
the 6v-8v supply.
- an SPI bus which carries the communication between the SoC and the
microcontroller on the module.
- an I2C bus shared between the SoC and all module slots which can
carry direct module-to-module communication.
- a reset line
- an interrupt line that indicates a clear to transmit signal
- a sync line shared between the SoC and all module slots which could
be used to synchronize modules for time sensitive IO spread across
modules.
- a SMBus alert line that is shared between the modules but is not
connected to the SoC so that is ignored.
A slot-number property is used to identify the physical location of a
module slot. Without it, it would be impossible to identify which module
to control if there are multiple of one type, to address the desired IO.

On the QCM6490 boards, the LPASS firmware controls the complete clock
controller functionalities and associated power domains. However, only
the LPASS resets required to be controlled by the high level OS. Thus,
add the new QCM6490 compatible to support the reset functionality for

Convert the TI clkctrl clock device tree binding to json-schema.
Specify the creator of the original binding as a maintainer.
reg property is used mostly with one item, in am3xxx also with
an arbitrary number of items, so divert from the original binding
specifying two (probably meaning one address and one size).
The consumer part of the example is left out because the full consumer
node would be needed.

For several zoned storage devices, vendors will provide extra space
which was used for device level GC than specs and F2FS can use this
space for filesystem level GC. To do that, we can reserve the space
using reserved_blocks. However, it is not enough, since this extra
space should not be shown to users. So, with this new sysfs node,
we can hide the space by substracting reserved_blocks from total
bytes.

Assert and deassert functionality of the DSP found on i.MX8MP is
realized by combining control bits from two modules: Audio Block
Control and Debug Access Port.
Audio block control bits are used to Run/Stall the DSP core
while the DAP bits are used for software reset the core.
The original plan was to use fsl,dsp-ctrl property and to refer the
audiomix bits via syscon interface. This proposal received NACK from
community we shouldn't abuse the syscon interface [1].
So remove fsl,dsp-ctrl property for i.MX8MP and use reset control
interface instead.
Example dts node only uses runstall control now, but softreset will
be added in the future when we will convert the softreset functionality
to use reset controller API.

We now print error messages in ext4_end_bio() when page writeback
encounters an error. If data_err=abort is set, the journal will also
be aborted in a kworker. This means that we now check all Buffer I/O
in all modes and decide whether to abort the journal based on the
data_err option. Therefore, we remove the ordered mode restriction
in the descriptions of data_err=abort and data_err=ignore.

The A523 contains a pin controller similar to previous SoCs, although
using 10 GPIO banks (PortB-PortK), all of them being IRQ capable.
With this SoC we introduce a new style of binding, where the pinmux values
for each pin group are stored in the new "allwinner, pinmux" property in
the DT node, instead of requiring every driver to store a mapping between
the function names and the required pinmux.
Add a new binding file, since all the different variants of the old
binding are making the file a bit unwieldy to handle already, and the new
property would make the situation worse.

All Rockchip GMAC variants typically write to GRF regs to control e.g.
interface mode, speed and MAC rx/tx delay. Newer SoCs such as RK3562,
RK3576 and RK3588 use a mix of GRF and peripheral GRF regs.
Prior to the commit b331b8ef86f0 ("dt-bindings: net: convert
rockchip-dwmac to json-schema") the property rockchip, grf was listed
under "Required properties". During the conversion this was lost and
rockchip, grf has since then incorrectly been treated as optional and
not as required.
Similarly, when rockchip,php-grf was added to the schema in the
commit a2b77831427c ("dt-bindings: net: rockchip-dwmac: add rk3588 gmac
compatible") it also incorrectly has been treated as optional for all
GMAC variants, when it should have been required for RK3588, and later
also for RK3576.
Update this binding to require rockchip, grf and rockchip,php-grf to
properly reflect that GRF (and peripheral GRF for RK3576/RK3588) is
required to control part of GMAC.
This should not introduce any breakage as all Rockchip GMAC nodes have
been added together with a rockchip, grf phandle (and rockchip,php-grf
where required) in their initial commit.

cross-ref of README
Commit fb12098d8ee4 ("docs: submit-checklist: Allow creating
cross-references for ABI README") assumes that the path of
"Documentation/ABI/README" would be converted to a cross-ref to
the README.
However, as the README is included by the "kernel-abi" directive
at Documentation/admin-guide/abi.rst, the expected conversion
does not happen.
Instead, use the path where the "kernel-abi" directive exists for
the conversion to work. Restore the original path of README in
inline-literal form as an additional note for readers of the .rst
file.
Apply the same changes for translations.

in making decisions on unresolved violations. If and when the CoC has to
make a call on instituting a ban, it doesn't act without the TAB's approval

These changes ensure that the TAB role and its oversight on CoC measures
