2021-08-11dt-bindings: soc: ti: pruss: Add dma-coherent propertySuman Anna1-12/+25
Update the PRUSS schema file to include the dma-coherent property that indicates the coherency of the IP. The PRUSS IPs on 66AK2G SoCs do use this property. The new added dma-coherent property is a required property _only_ for 66AK2G SoCs and is not required/applicable for other SoCs, so the binding is backward compatible for other SoCs. This update is being done before the corresponding dts nodes can be added for 66AK2G SoCs. 2021-08-10scripts/Makefile.clang: default to LLVM_IAS=1Nick Desaulniers1-6/+8
LLVM_IAS=1 controls enabling clang's integrated assembler via -integrated-as. This was an explicit opt in until we could enable assembler support in Clang for more architecures. Now we have support and CI coverage of LLVM_IAS=1 for all architecures except a few more bugs affecting s390 and powerpc. This commit flips the default from opt in via LLVM_IAS=1 to opt out via LLVM_IAS=0. CI systems or developers that were previously doing builds with CC=clang or LLVM=1 without explicitly setting LLVM_IAS must now explicitly opt out via LLVM_IAS=0, otherwise they will be implicitly opted-in. This finally shortens the command line invocation when cross compiling with LLVM to simply: $ make ARCH=arm64 LLVM=1 Signed-off-by: Nick Desaulniers <ndesaulniers@google.com> Reviewed-by: Nathan Chancellor <nathan@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>

2021-08-08dt-bindings: iio: accel: bma255: Add bosch,bmc156_accelStephan Gerhold1-0/+18
BMC156 is very smilar to BMC150, but it has only one accelerometer interrupt pin. It would make sense if only INT1 was exposed but someone at Bosch decided to only have an INT2 pin. In this case, it does not make sense if the first interrupt pin is treated as INT1 (since that pin does not exist). Add a note to the bindings that the first interrupt pin is treated as INT2 for BMC156. 2021-08-08iio: chemical: Add driver support for sgp40Andreas Klinger1-0/+31
sgp40 is a gas sensor used for measuring the air quality. This driver is reading the raw resistance value which can be passed to an userspace algorithm for further calculation. The raw value is also used to calculate an estimated absolute voc index in the range from 0 to 500. For this purpose the raw_mean value of the resistance for which the index value is 250 might be set up as a calibration step. This can be done with in_resistance_calibbias. Compensation of relative humidity and temperature is supported and can be used by writing to output values of out_humidityrelative_raw and out_temp_raw. There is a predecesor sensor type (sgp30) already existing. This driver module was not extended because the new sensor is quite different in its i2c telegrams. 2021-08-06netfilter: conntrack: remove offload_pickup sysctl againFlorian Westphal1-10/+0
These two sysctls were added because the hardcoded defaults (2 minutes, tcp, 30 seconds, udp) turned out to be too low for some setups. They appeared in 5.14-rc1 so it should be fine to remove it again. Marcelo convinced me that there should be no difference between a flow that was offloaded vs. a flow that was not wrt. timeout handling. Thus the default is changed to those for TCP established and UDP stream, 5 days and 120 seconds, respectively. Marcelo also suggested to account for the timeout value used for the offloading, this avoids increase beyond the value in the conntrack-sysctl and will also instantly expire the conntrack entry with altered sysctls. Example: nf_conntrack_udp_timeout_stream=60 nf_flowtable_udp_timeout=60 This will remove offloaded udp flows after one minute, rather than two. An earlier version of this patch also cleared the ASSURED bit to allow nf_conntrack to evict the entry via early_drop (i.e., table full). However, it looks like we can safely assume that connection timed out via HW is still in established state, so this isn't needed. Quoting Oz: [..] the hardware sends all packets with a set FIN flags to sw. [..] Connections that are aged in hardware are expected to be in the established state. In case it turns out that back-to-sw-path transition can occur for 'dodgy' connections too (e.g., one side disappeared while software-path would have been in RETRANS timeout), we can adjust this later.
