2014-05-24devicetree: bindings: Properly document micrel ks8851 SPI chipsStephen Boyd1-3/+12
The ks8851 SPI ethernet wasn't documented, but we documented the optional regulator supply for it under the mll based ethernet chip. Furthermore, that compatible string needed another 'l'. Fix all of this and document the optional vdd-io and reset-gpios properties. Conflicts: Documentation/devicetree/bindings/net/micrel-ks8851.txt net/core/netpoll.c The net/core/netpoll.c conflict is a bug fix in 'net' happening to code which is completely removed in 'net-next'. In micrel-ks8851.txt we simply have overlapping changes. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

Few platforms use external regulator to keep the ethernet MAC supplied. So, request and enable the regulator for driver functionality. 2014-02-19DT: net: document Ethernet bindings in one placeSergei Shtylyov1-3/+0
This patch is an attempt to gather the Ethernet related bindings in one file, like it's done in the MMC and some other subsystems. It should save some of the trouble of documenting several properties over and over in each binding document, instead only making reference to the main file. I have used the Embedded Power Architecture(TM) Platform Requirements (ePAPR) standard as a base for the properties description, also documenting some ad-hoc properties that have been introduced over time despite having direct analogs in ePAPR.
