Commit e6789cd3dfb553077606ccafeb05e0043f072481 (uio: Simplify uio error
path by using devres functions) converted uio to use devm_request_irq().
This introduced a change in behaviour since the IRQ is associated with
the parent device instead of the created UIO device. The IRQ will remain
active after uio_unregister_device() is called, and some drivers will
crash because of this. The patch fixes this.

Fengguang Wu used CF=-D__CHECK_ENDIAN__ to check the GenWQE driver for
endian issues. Sparse found a couple of those. Most of them were caused
by not correctly handling __be64/32 and __u64/32. Those I was able to
fix with appropriate castings.
One more serious issue was the ATS entry in struct genwqe_ddcb_cmd.
The kernel expected it in big-endian, but the type was defined __u64.
I decided that it is better to keep the interface consistent using
host endian byte-odering instead of having a mixture. With this change
the kernel likes to see host endian byte order for the ATS entry. That
would have been an interface change, if someone would have used the
driver already. Since this is not the case, I hope it is ok to fix it
now.
For the genqwe_readq/writeq/readl/writel functions I enforced the casts.
It still complains, as far as I can see, about some copy_to/from_user()
usages:

The GenWQE card itself provides access to a generic work queue into
which the work can be put, which should be executed, e.g. compression
or decompression request, or whatever the card was configured to do.
Each request comes with a set of input data (ASV) and will produce some
output data (ASIV). The request will also contain a sequence number,
some timestamps and a command code/subcode plus some fields for hardware-/
software-interaction.
A request can contain references to blocks of memory. Since the card
requires DMA-addresses of that memory, the driver provides two ways to
solve that task:
1) The drivers mmap() will allocate some DMAable memory for the user.
The driver has a lookup table such that the virtual userspace
address can properly be replaced and checked.
2) The user allocates memory and the driver will pin/unpin that
memory and setup a scatter gatherlist with matching DMA addresses.
Currently work requests are synchronous.

This doesn't work on Studio, XPS, Vostro, and Precision laptops,
and it doesn't provide any value except to cause confusion when
it does not work. Drop it and always use DMI BIOS version instead.

At least on Studio 1555 and XPS M140, the fan speed is reported directly,
not with the default speed multiplier of 30. Information on the web
suggests that this may be true for other models as well, though it is
unknown at this time which systems may be affected.
Use the driver_data field of dmi_system_id to override the default fan
multiplier value for the two systems known to use a multiplier of 1.

On Studio 1555 with dual-core CPU, reading sensor attributes
exported by this driver resulted in random failures combined
with system hangups and forced logouts. Information in
drivers/firmware/dcdbas.c suggests that SMM accesses must
run on CPU 0. With this patch, the problems are gone,
suggesting that this is in fact the case.

For NUMA systems, initializing the blk-mq layer and using per node hctx.
We initialize submit queues to 1, while blk-mq nr_hw_queues is
initialized to the number of NUMA nodes.
This makes the null_init_hctx function overwrite memory outside of what
it allocated. In my case it lead to writing garbage into struct
request_queue's mq_map.

radeon_hwmon_show_temp_thresh()
Since commit ec39f64bba34 ("drm/radeon/dpm: Convert to use
devm_hwmon_register_with_groups") radeon_hwmon_init() is using
hwmon_device_register_with_groups(), which sets `rdev' as a device
private driver_data, while hwmon_attributes_visible() and
radeon_hwmon_show_temp_thresh() are still waiting for `drm_device'.
Fix them by using dev_get_drvdata(), in order to avoid this oops:

Pull networking fixes from David Miller:
1) Revert CHECKSUM_COMPLETE optimization in pskb_trim_rcsum(), I can't
figure out why it breaks things.
2) Fix comparison in netfilter ipset's hash_netnet4_data_equal(), it
was basically doing "x == x", from Dave Jones.
3) Freescale FEC driver was DMA mapping the wrong number of bytes, from
Sebastian Siewior.
4) Blackhole and prohibit routes in ipv6 were not doing the right thing
because their ->input and ->output methods were not being assigned
correctly. Now they behave properly like their ipv4 counterparts.

5) Several drivers advertise the NETIF_F_FRAGLIST capability, but
really do not support this feature and will send garbage packets if

Tom London reports that it causes sync() to hang on Fedora rawhide:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1033965
and Josh Boyer bisected it down to this commit. Reverting the commit in
the rawhide kernel fixes the problem.
Eric Paris root-caused it to incorrect subtype matching in that commit
breaking fuse, and has a tentative patch, but by now we're better off
retrying this in 3.14 rather than playing with it any more.

This patch changes the igb_phy_has_link function to check the value of the
parameter before deciding to use udelay or mdelay in order to be sure that
the value is not too high for udelay function.

Quite a few stable fixes were identified for both the thin-
provisioning and caching targets as a result of increased regression

metadata will leak, resulting in dm-cache devices running out of

"A small set of driver fixes plus one larger core change which changes
the way we check to see if we're using DT so that there aren't any
races between deciding we're using DT and the regulator subsystem
noticing.
This makes the new support for substituting a dummy regulator and
optional regulators work a lot better on DT systems since it ensures
that we don't trigger probe deferral when we shouldn't which was
causing bugs in clients"
