This patch creates a new inline function named scan_frame_queue() containing the last 4 nesting levels, and removes the need of backwards goto, making the code easier to read. msleep under 20ms can result in sleeping up to 20ms, which may not be intended. Replace msleep(5) by usleep_range(5000, 10000). The range of 5 ms is to reduce the chances of creating an interrupt while reducing the maximum wait time in 50%. 2015-10-17usb: Add support for ACPI identification to xhci-platformDuc Dang1-0/+9
Provide the methods to let ACPI identify the need to use xhci-platform. Change the Kconfig files so the xhci-plat.o file is selectable during kernel config. This has been tested on an ARM64 machine with platform XHCI, an x86_64 machine with XHCI, and an x86_64 machine without XHCI. There were no regressions or error messages on the machines without platform XHCI. 2015-10-17xhci: create one unified function to calculate TRB TD remainder.Mathias Nyman2-62/+46
xhci versions 1.0 and later report the untransferred data remaining in a TD a bit differently than older hosts. We used to have separate functions for these, and needed to check host version before calling the right function. Now Mediatek host has an additional quirk on how it uses the TD Size field for remaining data. To prevent yet another function for calculating remainder we instead want to make one quirk friendly unified function. We used to treat d_is_negative() after lookup_fast() as "fall with ENOENT". That was wrong - checking ->d_flags outside of ->d_seq protection is unreliable and failing with hard error on what should've fallen back to non-RCU pathname resolution is a bug. Unfortunately, we'd pulled the test too far up and ran afoul of another kind of staleness. The dentry might have been absolutely stable from the RCU point of view (and we might be on UP, etc), but stale from the remote fs point of view. If ->d_revalidate() returns "it's actually stale", dentry gets thrown away and the original code wouldn't even have looked at its ->d_flags.
