Pull core signal updates from Ingo Molnar:
"These updates from Stas Sergeev and Andy Lutomirski, improve the
sigaltstack interface by extending its ABI with the SS_AUTODISARM
feature, which makes it possible to use swapcontext() in a sighandler
that works on sigaltstack. Without this flag, the subsequent signal
will corrupt the state of the switched-away sighandler.
The inspiration is more robust dosemu signal handling"
* 'core-signals-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip:
signals/sigaltstack: Change SS_AUTODISARM to (1U << 31)
signals/sigaltstack: Report current flag bits in sigaltstack()
selftests/sigaltstack: Fix the sigaltstack test on old kernels
signals/sigaltstack: If SS_AUTODISARM, bypass on_sig_stack()
selftests/sigaltstack: Add new testcase for sigaltstack(SS_ONSTACK|SS_AUTODISARM)

Using bit 4 divides the space of available bits strangely. Use bit
31 instead so that we have a better chance of keeping flag and mode
bits separate in the long run.

sigaltstack()'s reported previous state uses a somewhat odd
convention, but the concept of flag bits is new, and we can do the
flag bits sensibly. Specifically, let's just report them directly.
This will allow saving and restoring the sigaltstack state using
sigaltstack() to work correctly.

sigaltstack(SS_ONSTACK|SS_AUTODISARM)
This patch adds the test case for SS_AUTODISARM flag.
The test-case tries to set SS_AUTODISARM flag and checks if
the nested signal corrupts the stack after swapcontext().

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/paulmck/linux-rcu into core/rcu
Pull RCU updates from Paul E. McKenney:
* Documentation updates, including fixes to the design-level
requirements documentation and a fixed version of the design-level
data-structure documentation. These fixes include removing
cartoons and getting rid of the html/htmlx duplication.
* Further improvements to the new-age expedited grace periods.
* Miscellaneous fixes.
* Torture-test changes, including a new rcuperf module for measuring
RCU grace-period performance and scalability, which is useful for
the expedited-grace-period changes.

Currently, the rcutorture scripts do not test boot-time adjustment of
leaf fanout (via the rcutree.rcu_fanout_leaf boot parameter), as was noted
during testing carried out by Iftekhar Ahmed of Oregon State University.
This commit therefore adjusts TREE04's CONFIG_RCU_FANOUT_LEAF from 4 to 3,
and also adds rcutree.rcu_fanout_leaf=4 to its boot parameters. This
change forces RCU's boot-time geometry-change code to be exercised.

The current hang-check machinery in the rcutorture scripts uses "$!" of
a parenthesized bash statement to capture the pid. Unfortunately, this
captures not qemu's pid, but rather that of its parent that implements
the parenthesized statement. This commit therefore adjusts things so as
to capture qemu's actual pid, which then allows the script to actually
kill qemu in event of a kernel hang.

Some small modifications were necessary to the test harness to fix the
build with the current Linux source code.
I also made minor modifications to automatically test the radix-tree.c
and radix-tree.h files that are in the current source tree, as opposed
to a copied and slightly modified version. I am sure more could be done
to tidy up the harness, as well as adding more tests.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/nvdimm/nvdimm
Pull libnvdimm updates from Dan Williams:
- Asynchronous address range scrub:
Given the capacities of next generation persistent memory devices a
scrub operation to find all poison may take 10s of seconds. We
want this scrub work to be done asynchronously with the rest of
system initialization, so we move it out of line from the NFIT
probing, i.e. acpi_nfit_add().
- Clear poison:
ACPI 6.1 introduces the ability to send "clear error" commands to
the ACPI0012:00 device representing the root of an "nvdimm bus".
Similar to relocating a bad block on a disk, this support clears
media errors in response to a write.
- Persistent memory resource tracking:
A persistent memory range may be designated as simply "reserved" by
platform firmware in the efi/e820 memory map. Later when the NFIT
driver loads it discovers that the range is "Persistent Memory".
The NFIT bus driver inserts a resource to advertise that
"persistent" attribute in the system resource tree for /proc/iomem
and kernel-internal usages.
- Miscellaneous cleanups and fixes:
Workaround section misaligned pmem ranges when allocating a struct
page memmap, fix handling of the read-only case in the ioctl path,
and clean up block device major number allocation.

Setting TF prevents fastpath returns in most cases, which causes the
test to fail on 32-bit kernels because 32-bit kernels do not, in
fact, handle NT correctly on SYSENTER entries.

The return value from an 'ndctl_fn' reports the command execution
status, i.e. was the command properly formatted and was it successfully
submitted to the bus provider. The new 'cmd_rc' parameter allows the bus
provider to communicate command specific results, translated into
common error codes.
Convert the ARS commands to this scheme to:
1/ Consolidate status reporting
2/ Prepare for for expanding ars unit test cases
3/ Make the implementation more generic
