2014-01-07ASoC: Ux500: Match platform by device node when booting Device TreeLee Jones1-0/+2
We're getting closer to fully enabling the Ux500 ASoC driver for Device Tree. When we switch over from using AUXDATA we'll need to match platform by only Device Tree nodes. In this patch we NULL out the platform_name, and supply nodes for each platform device. 2013-07-15ASoC: mop500: add .owner to struct snd_soc_cardWei Yongjun1-0/+1
Add missing .owner of struct snd_soc_card. This prevents the module from being removed from underneath its users. Signed-off-by: Wei Yongjun <yongjun_wei@trendmicro.com.cn> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>
2013-05-15ASoC: mop500: Staticize non exported structLars-Peter Clausen1-1/+1
The mop500_dai_links struct is not used outside of mop500.c, so make it static. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
2013-01-31ASoC: Ux500: Fix build error pertaining to missing include fileLee Jones1-1/+1
Some compilers complain when building sound for MOP500: sound/soc/ux500/mop500.c:27:27: fatal error: mop500_ab8500.h: No such file or directory That file is actually in the local directory rather than include. 2012-12-09ASoC: ux500: remove __dev* attributesBill Pemberton1-5/+5
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As result the __dev* markings will be going away. Remove use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata, __devinitconst, and __devexit. Signed-off-by: Bill Pemberton <wfp5p@virginia.edu> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>

2012-11-23ASoC: Ux500: Initialise PCM from MSP probe rather than as a deviceLee Jones1-2/+2
The PCM is a pseudo-device. It doesn't have any of it's own registers or hardware. It rather acts as a layer of abstraction for DMA transfers. Hence, instead of classifying it as a device in its own right, we call the initialisation from the MSP driver. 2012-10-16ASoC: Ux500: Dispose of device nodes correctlyLee Jones1-0/+17
When of_parse_phandle() is used to find a device node, its reference count is incremented by the helper. Once we're finished with them, it's our responsibly to ensure they are freed in the correct manor. 2012-09-20ASoC: Ux500: Minor coding layout changesLee Jones1-5/+2
Includes removal of duplicate debug print affirming entry into the probe function, an unnecessary line break of a coding line <80 chars and a white space change (unintentional tab). Acked-by: Ola Lilja <ola.o.lilja@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org>
2012-09-20ASoC: Ux500: Enable MOP500 driver for Device TreeLee Jones1-0/+40
Here we ensure that the MOP500 audio driver will be probed during a Device Tree boot. We also parse the sound node to link together the codec, dma and the CPU-side Digital Audio Interface.
