2015-04-06ASoC: Intel: create atom folder and move atom platform files inJie Yang1-804/+0
Restructure the sound/soc/intel/ directory: create atom folder, and move sst atom platform files here. Signed-off-by: Jie Yang <yang.jie@intel.com> Acked-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2015-02-23ASoC: Intel: add support for platform suspendVinod Koul1-0/+58
This adds support for platform suspend and resume. We ensure all pcms are suspended by invoking snd_soc_suspend() and then stop the DSP Signed-off-by: Subhransu S. Prusty <subhransu.s.prusty@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2015-02-23ASoC: Intel: add support for pcm stream suspend/resumeVinod Koul1-0/+2
The driver didn't implement support for pcm stream suspend and resume, so add it Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2015-01-06ASoC: intel: Remove unnecessary snd_pcm_lib_preallocate_free_for_all()Lars-Peter Clausen1-7/+0
The ALSA core takes care that all preallocated memory is freed when the PCM itself is freed. There is no need to do this manually in the driver. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Acked-by: Jarkko Nikula <jarkko.nikula@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/driver-core Pull driver core update from Greg KH: "Here's the set of driver core patches for 3.19-rc1. They are dominated by the removal of the .owner field in platform drivers. They touch a lot of files, but they are "simple" changes, just removing a line in a structure. Other than that, a few minor driver core and debugfs changes. There are some ath9k patches coming in through this tree that have been acked by the wireless maintainers as they relied on the debugfs changes. Everything has been in linux-next for a while" * tag 'driver-core-3.19-rc1' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/driver-core: (324 commits) Revert "ath: ath9k: use debugfs_create_devm_seqfile() helper for seq_file entries" fs: debugfs: add forward declaration for struct device type firmware class: Deletion of an unnecessary check before the function call "vunmap" firmware loader: fix hung task warning dump devcoredump: provide a one-way disable function device: Add dev_<level>_once variants ath: ath9k: use debugfs_create_devm_seqfile() helper for seq_file entries ath: use seq_file api for ath9k debugfs files debugfs: add helper function to create device related seq_file drivers/base: cacheinfo: remove noisy error boot message Revert "core: platform: add warning if driver has no owner" drivers: base: support cpu cache information interface to userspace via sysfs drivers: base: add cpu_device_create to support per-cpu devices topology: replace custom attribute macros with standard DEVICE_ATTR* cpumask: factor out show_cpumap into separate helper function driver core: Fix unbalanced device reference in drivers_probe driver core: fix race with userland in device_add() sysfs/kernfs: make read requests on pre-alloc files use the buffer. sysfs/kernfs: allow attributes to request write buffer be pre-allocated. fs: sysfs: return EGBIG on write if offset is larger than file size ...
2014-10-31ASoC: Intel: mfld-pcm: Fix to Store device context in sst_dataSubhransu S. Prusty1-0/+1
Some debug prints use dev context in sst_data. Store the device context for the same. Signed-off-by: Subhransu S. Prusty <subhransu.s.prusty@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2014-10-20ASoC: intel: drop owner assignment from platform_driversWolfram Sang1-1/+0
A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-10-20ASoC: Intel: mfld-pcm: add FE and BE opsVinod Koul1-28/+125
Now that we have added code for managing DSP pipelines we need to add the code for DSPs FrontEnd and Backend dai. Signed-off-by: Subhransu S. Prusty <subhransu.s.prusty@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2014-09-25ASoC: Intel: mfld-pcm: add control for powering up/down dspVinod Koul1-0/+16
When we have PCM (FE/BE) opened or DAPM widgets triggered we need power up/down DSP accordingly. The DSP will do ref count of these requests i.e. link these runtime_get/put calls of DSP Also fix some preexisting spacing error. 2014-09-16ASoC: Intel: mfld-pcm: don't call trigger ops to DSP for internal streamsVinod Koul1-0/+2
For internal stream i.e. BE we have don't need trigger ops as that would be handled by DAPM for us in subsequent patches Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Subhransu S. Prusty <subhransu.s.prusty@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
