2024-09-09ASoC: Switch back to struct platform_driver::remove()Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove() return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for platform drivers. Convert all drivers below sound/soc to use .remove(), with the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As .remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer. 2024-06-10ASoC: generic: Replace of_gpio.h by proper oneAndy Shevchenko1-1/+2
of_gpio.h is deprecated and subject to remove. The driver doesn't use it directly, replace it with what is really being used. 2023-10-23ASoC: simple-card-utils: Make simple_util_remove() return voidUwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. simple_util_remove() returned zero unconditionally. Make it return void instead and convert all users to struct platform_device::remove_new(). 2021-10-15ASoC: add Audio Graph Card2 Custom SampleKuninori Morimoto1-0/+183
audio-graph-card2 has customizing support. This means user can re-use audio-graph-card2 DT parsing, and possible to expand to own special handling. This patch adds Audio Graph Card2 Customize Sample Driver. It can re-use audio-graph-card2 parsing by calling audio_graph2_parse_of(...), and user can expand each functions by using hooks.
