2023-05-23ASoC: do not include pm_runtime.h if not usedClaudiu Beznea1-1/+0
Do not include pm_runtime.h header in files where APIs exported by pm_runtime.h are not used. 2022-06-27ASoC: pcm*: Remove now redundant non_legacy_dai_naming flagCharles Keepax1-2/+0
The ASoC core has now been changed to default to the non-legacy DAI naming, as such drivers using the new scheme no longer need to specify the non_legacy_dai_naming flag. 2022-05-09ASoC: pcm186x: simplify the return expression of pcm186x_power_off()Minghao Chi1-6/+1
Simplify the return expression. Reported-by: Zeal Robot <zealci@zte.com.cn> Signed-off-by: Minghao Chi <chi.minghao@zte.com.cn> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220505022102.54650-1-chi.minghao@zte.com.cn Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2022-02-28ASoC: pcm186x: Use modern ASoC DAI format terminologyMark Brown1-10/+9
As part of moving to remove the old style defines for the bus clocks update the pcm186x driver to use more modern terminology for clocking. 2020-08-24treewide: Use fallthrough pseudo-keywordGustavo A. R. Silva1-1/+1
Replace the existing /* fall through */ comments and its variants with the new pseudo-keyword macro fallthrough[1]. Also, remove unnecessary fall-through markings when it is the case. 2020-07-22ASoC: Replace HTTP links with HTTPS onesAlexander A. Klimov1-1/+1
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2019-02-19ASoC: codecs: pcm186x: Fix energysense SLEEP bitCodrin Ciubotariu1-3/+3
The ADCs are sleeping when the SLEEP bit is set and running when it's cleared, so the bit should be inverted. Tested on pcm1863. 2019-02-19ASoC: codecs: pcm186x: fix wrong usage of DECLARE_TLV_DB_SCALE()Codrin Ciubotariu1-1/+1
According to DS, the gain is between -12 dB and 40 dB, with a 0.5 dB step. Tested on pcm1863. Signed-off-by: Codrin Ciubotariu <codrin.ciubotariu@microchip.com> Acked-by: Andrew F. Davis <afd@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org> Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org
2018-10-05ASoC: pcm186x: Use the standard fall-through annotationTakashi Iwai1-1/+2
As a preparatory patch for the upcoming -Wimplicit-fallthrough compiler checks, replace with the standard "fall through" annotation. Unfortunately gcc doesn't understand the mixed comment lines. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2018-07-26ASoC: pcm186x: Declare PCM format with snd_pcm_format_tTakashi Iwai1-1/+1
The PCM format type is with __bitwise, so we should use the dedicated snd_pcm_format_t instead of int. This fixes the sparse warning like: sound/soc/codecs/pcm186x.c:268:44: warning: incorrect type in initializer (different base types) Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2018-02-12ASoC: pcm186x: replace codec to componentKuninori Morimoto1-75/+68
Now we can replace Codec to Component. Let's do it. Note: xxx_codec_xxx() -> xxx_component_xxx() .idle_bias_off = 0 -> .idle_bias_on = 1 .ignore_pmdown_time = 0 -> .use_pmdown_time = 1 - -> .endianness = 1 - -> .non_legacy_dai_naming = 1 Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
2017-12-07ASoC: pcm186x: make pcm186x_dai_ops and pcm186x_adc_input_channel_sel_value ↵Colin Ian King1-2/+2
static pcm186x_dai_ops and pcm186x_adc_input_channel_sel_value are local to the source and do not need to be in global scope, so make them static. Cleans up sparse warnings: symbol 'pcm186x_dai_ops' was not declared. Should it be static? symbol 'pcm186x_adc_input_channel_sel_value' was not declared. Should it be static? 2017-12-06ASoC: pcm186x: Add initial PCM1862/63/64/65 universal ADC driverAndreas Dannenberg1-0/+719
This is an initial version of the PCM186x codec driver supporting both 2-channel and 4-channel device variants. Not all device features are supported yet such as master/slave mode PLL configuration for which the codec driver currently relies on the PCM186x built-in clock auto-detection feature or the connection of digital microphones. However here is what's here and what should work: - Support for SPI and I2C low-level interfaces - Regmap support and basic register definitions - Input Mixer and Mux selection - I2C, LJ, and TDM DAI format support Signed-off-by: Andreas Dannenberg <dannenberg@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Stecklein <m-stecklein@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew F.
